I think the general public would be more willing to believe she's over Brad and happy if she, her publicist, and her friends could keep from mentioning him consistently in every single interview for the past 6 years. They have been officially divorced and he has been with Angelina and kids longer than they have been married by this point. I understand that he's part of her history, but sheesh, give it a rest already. I mean, if the new relationship is genuine and not a PR stunt, than just enjoy yourself and quit mentioning your ex. Actions speak louder than words. I've said it before and I'll say it again, she and her PR people suck. It's like they are deliberately trying to sabotage her public image.
It makes me curious, though. Does Huvane represent any other big name celebs aside from Jennifer, Gwyneth, & Chelsea? If I were a celeb & looking for representation, just based on the public images of those three, I would run like the wind if Huvane came near me. Is he that bad a publicist or is it more his clients' fault?

Hmm, Us Weekly - hard to tell if her people put that little bone out there or not. Now if it were PEOPLE, that for sure would be her camp leaking. And I agree, they really do suck at it. People still like her and watch her. We don't need the constantly planting of stories about how yes indeedy - she CAN get and keep a man.

I hope this chick spends more time in this house than I spend taking a whizz. I saw the last spread in a mag and it was so big they couldn't even show the whole house. then she ups and goes to move! Bitch, at least spend one night in the house you spent a year building!

Here[/color] is a list of his clients as of 2006. I think he's regarded as one of the best publicists in the industry, although I've always thought his carpet-bombing style of publicity for Paltrow and Aniston was doing them no favors in the long term.

Thanks for the link, Ginger. This guy just seems like a total hack compared to someone like Pat Kingsley, but I do like some of his other clients like Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Julianne Moore, & Stanley Tucci.
I've come to the conclusion that it's the celebrity's fault, as well. Take someone like Bryce Dallas Howard & Gwyneth Paltrow. Both have similar backgrounds and share the same publicist but the way they are received by the general public is like night & day. His aggressive behind-the-scenes PR tactics on behalf of some of his clients just make them seem like famewhores & I'm pretty sure that should be the opposite of what they're going for.
I had a chuckle at this statement though,
Really Huvane? You might want to take your own advice & let Jennifer & Gwyneth in on it, too.

Her PR definitely needs a rethink. If they are not hammering the "brave Jen soldiers on" angle they are trying to ram yet another manufactured relationship down our throats. Every relationship (conveniently timed to promote a movie) has Jen head over heels in love! Planning for baby! It gets a little old and eye roll worthy.
I wish she would find happiness and settle down but I just think her own family history has left her with major baggage. Not sure if that would be enough to kill the triangle talk forever though.

I'm curious, though -- at what point do the people who think she does everything for publicity decide that she's doing something (e.g., moving in with someone, getting married, having a baby) because it's what she wants? How do you tell?

I think she'd be taken more seriously if she didn't promote a new relationship & mention her ex every time she has a new movie coming out and then subsequently break up with the PR boyfriend as soon as she wraps up promotion for said movie. That & the fact that even celebrity ass-kissing entertainment shows & magazines have called her out on her fake romances speak volumes.
I really hope she's happy with Justin Theroux. A real relationship would at the very least help the media & everyone else move on. That & not bringing up your ex in every interview. I'll buy the relationship is genuine if they're still together when all promotion for her movie ceases & she's still with the guy when her next movie comes out.

I actually think it's a real relationship (why else would she step down from the high road and choose someone with a girlfriend at the time?) but why is she moving so fast? Why let it be known that she does this (if she does)?
