I saw this yesterday and absolutely loved it. Normally I'm "meh" about romantic comedies and Steve Carell (there, I said it), but this movie was pretty much pitch-perfect from start to finish, funny and clever, with believable characters (whether charming or despicable).
Marisa Tomei is a hoot, an absolute scene-stealer! So are Kevin Bacon, and Josh Groban (for real!). Anyway, lots of laughter from the audience and applause at the end.
I rarely see movies more than once in the theatre, but this one's worth it. I'm taking my friends' kids (teens) so they can see that finding love never stops being awkward, complicated, and awesome, at any age.

I thought it was good too, though the pacing was a bit off and the speech at the end was cringeworthy. Julianne Moore doesn't normally do this well with comedy so I was surprised. And Josh Groban! That was so random, but I thought he did really well.

Saw it today and thought it was fun - maybe not particularly memorable but enjoyable nonetheless. Definitely worth the $4 matinee price (especially cause shirtless Ryan Gosling = HAWT!).

O/T Where is this heavenly place with a $4 matinee? The cheapest I've seen is $7.50.

The two Cinemark theaters in my area (Kansas City, MO) have $4 matinees. (I think it's $6 for Sat matinees). They aren't quite as nice as the AMCs but for $4 I really don't care. I probably go to 3X as many movies as I used since I discovered the super awesome matinee price. :-)

I'm really looking forward to seeing this, mostly to see Ryan Gosling. The friend I'm going with says she doesn't really see his appeal. Crazy girl. I wonder if this movie will change her mind.

RE: Ryan Gosling - I can say it changed my mind. I never really got the "OMG He's soooo hot" before seeing this. In fact, I thought he looked a lot like David Arquette. And sometimes Stephen Baldwin.
But Holy Ripped Abs Batman!Maybe it was the suits (when he was fully clothed) but he was smokin' hot in this.

I honestly thought it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
I didn't care about any of the characters.
