My daughter is very attached to her blanket, though it's kind of waning now that she's 4. However, when we went on a flight this summer, she definitely wanted that blanket with her, and on her, when she was in her seat. Maybe Suri really felt she needed that blanket because she's riding in a helicopter. I'm sure it's not the first time she's been in a helicopter, but still: she might need some extra safety for that. Something is off about Suri and Katie and the whole circus though... Add me to those who just feel sad watching that kid.

Suri Speaks! She doesn't sound at all what I expected her to sound like. I was embarrassingly excited to hear this child speak. Despite the ridiculous amount of exposure she has gotten, without a voice Suri has been an enigma. She certainly is articulate. No problems there anyway.

So I guess I'm the only one that thinks that it wasn't Suri rattling off that line. I call BS, but will gladly withdraw when further evidence is submitted. The voice came out a little too clearly and sarcastically for a child that age hiding behind doll. I think it was the handler.

Suri is supposed to be 5 I believe (though some suspect she's really closer to 6). I've encountered my fair share of 5 year olds that can speak that clearly and have a gift for snark. Plus, the voiced sounded like a child not an adult attempting to imitate a child. I also don't think the paps would chuckle at a handler telling them take a picture of her doll. That's cute coming from a kid but not an adult. Finally, do you really think any handler that wants to keep her job would dare suggest the paps not take pictures of Suri?
Yeah, I agree. Since the clams like to take little things and exaggerate them I wonder if things like Suri being a bit more articulate than usual is where all the stories of Suri's genius comes.

I have no problem believing a normal child her age would say that.
But I still feel bad for her being dragged around like that. She clearly hates it.

That was cute of Suri to tell the photogs to take a pic of her baby instead.
Poor kid, she really does hate being photographed and I can't really blame her.

Man, that video made me so sad for Suri. I hope one day when she's older she'll find out that it's because of her parents famewhoring ways that her childhood was filled with staged photo ops and crap like this. I hope she rebels against those two idiots hard.

Suri is not particularly articulate. I have a grand daughter younger than her who reads, makes up stories about magical dragons and flying dolphins. Suri should be starting kindergarten, so being able to say "take a picture of my baby" may be articulate at three (maybe even two) but not at five. I think the blanket, bippie, and being carried around have given the impression that she's significantly younger than she really is.
My son knew all the dinosaurs at three. A toddler talking about what a Diplodocus eats is articulate. A five year old talking about her dolly, not so much.

I swear, I thought that kid was 6, not 5. Don't know why. Will she attend some version of kindergarten, I wonder?
