She is glowing and beautiful but I don't love the dress itself. Color is great though. She can wear any color. That's how I feel. I wish the colors faded into each other instead of such sharp delineations. Otherwise I love it. |

I think the dress would have worked better in a single color. She looks fabulous, though.

Agreed. I think it's the blocking, and not the colors. She really looks exceptional in bright colors.
Where do I place my bet for her for Best Dressed at the Oscars?
I saw Fences, and she really will deserve this award (if she wins, knock knock). She is just extraordinary in everything I have seen in her. Does she even give mediocre performances?

I saw Fences this weekend, and I cannot see her not winning. I just do not understand how she is a supporting actress, though. I love Viola; I still pull up her scene from Doubt and it still hurts my soul because I feel her words so deeply that I would think it was real. |

I am probably wrong, but I want to say she has won every award she's been nominated for, for Fences this season. I'm too lazy to check. Once she wins that Oscar, she just needs to do some voice work for a book on tape or something and get that Emmy. EGOT!!!
