New show that debuted last night. I was intrigued by the promos, but forgot about it in the all the debuts last night (Wednesday has WAY too many shows I like), but I ended up watching and enjoyed it.

The gist is that a young woman returns to the Hamptons with a new identity to seek revenge on the hoi-polloi that were responsible for the downfall and death of her father 10 years earlier. There are flashbacks showing him being arrested and her dragged out screaming as a terrified child.

She has a group photo and puts a big red X over the face of each person as her vengeance is achieved. Very soapy, very campy, very entertaining so far.

The actress is apparently known from some teen soaps, which I don't watch, so she's new to me. She reminds me of Taylor Swift, with the innocent face and blond wavy hair.

Anyone else watch?

I watched the leaked pilot a week ago and liked it. It's easily my favorite of the new dramas.

It was very entertaining. Soapy with lots of pretty people and pretty locales. I always thought Madeline Stowe was such a wooden actress but she might make a great villianess on this. Will definitely check back.

I love it so far. I'll give anything with some sort of Everwood connection a chance. Ugh, even that awful Rookie Blue.

I really don't know if I'd consider "Brothers and Sisters" a teen soap, but I watched because I enjoy Emily Van Camp and really enjoyed it. First new show of the year I remembered to check out, and I liked the execution. And the scenery.

Emily Van Camp was also on Everwood. I really liked Revenge too. It is what I thought Ringer would be like which has turned out to be not so good. Madeline Stowe looks fantastic. If she has had work done it is well done. Actresses of a certain age take note, that is how you age gracefully.

I saw this and took an instant liking to it. Never saw Everwood but I liked EVC on Brothers & Sisters. I miss primetime soaps and this is pretty close. I'm not sure how long the premise can last but it's fun seeing pretty people in pretty locations doing nasty things to each other. Agreed that Madeleine Stowe looks fantastic and Victoria Grayson is such a perfect WASP-bitch name.

I felt it was just yesterday that Amber Valleta was a supermodel and here she is approaching 40 and looking like it.

I really enjoyed this as well. Quite delicious. I'm looking forward to when Jack realizes she's Amanda.

ABC is rerunning the pilot tonight at 9. I think that's a fantastic idea; I'd like to watch it again to catch things I missed the first time (and get a handle on all the characters), plus it might hook a few new fans who missed it on Wednesday.

While Madelaine Stowe looks pretty good, I do think she has that weird wrinkled lip thing that comes from too many collagen injections.

I kinda eye-rolled that Jack still holds a torch for Emily/Amanda (or Emanda as the TWOPPers call her). You hung out briefly as children 15+ years ago and never saw each other again, yet you admit to still thinking about her, named your boat after her and still take care of her (somehow still alive) dog ? Damn dude.
