I kinda eye-rolled that Jack still holds a torch for Emily/Amanda (or Emanda as the TWOPPers call her). You hung out briefly as children 15+ years ago and never saw each other again, yet you admit to still thinking about her, named your boat after her and still take care of her (somehow still alive) dog ? Damn dude. Yeah, that was a vaguely stalkerish feeling that bugged me too. I liked it, but the obvious green screening really annoyed me. Do they film at all on location? Or is it all done on the backlot in L.A.? Sorry, what should be minor details like that, take me out of the story.

I liked it. I loved the Count of Monte Cristo.
With that story in mind, I wonder if Victoria's daughter is Emily's half sister.
ETA: I'm confused. How many years has it been? 10 or 15? I guess the timeline wouldn't match with the half sister. Oh, well...

I saw Emily VanCamp on The View earlier this week, and she said it was being filmed on location (or at least Long Island), because she didn't know what they were planning to do when winter comes.

I liked it, too. I've liked Emily Van Camp since Everwood, even though I thought her part on Brothers and Sisters was too squicky.
The only things I didn't like is them showing the killer (partly, I may not have liked who the killer ended up being), and I didn't like the backstory behind how Emily/Amanda got the money to pull off her revenge. I kind of wish she'd made all in on her own, somehow.
I hope the episodes go like the first one -- getting rid of one enemy per episode, plus some flashbacks.

Yeah, I'm another one who didn't like how they showed "how it ends" at the beginning of the first episode. I almost turned it off because I hate shows that start with the end, but I'm glad I didn't.

I don't think he's the killer. Because Emily also had sand on her hand. I think it's the tech guy. He creeps me out.

I really liked this pilot. It was easily my favorite of the ones I watched.
Not sure how the premise will be sustained for multiple seasons, though. I read somewhere that at some point the location will be switched from the Hamptons to NYC, although I'm not sure if the writer meant that it'll happen in season 1.
