Someone on the EW boards posed that he is Vincent from "Lost". I'm going with that theory. Love that! I agree that EVC is amazing as Emily/Amanda. On the other hand James Tupper kind of bugs me as her dad. I know he just has a small role but he just doesn't seem right for the part. It is interesting, in the pilot I thought Nolan was going to be the total psycho but it seems like in the last couple of episodes he is getting a little freaked out about how hardcore Emily is. I am wondering if the iciness between them in the flashforward is because he eventually thinks she goes too far. And after seeing more of Daniel's roommate Tyler in this episode I am more convinced than ever that he is the one who got killed in the flashforward. |

Emily is hardcore. I don't know if she's driven or psychotic. It really could go either way. I don't know if she's playing Daniel or truly falling for him. I know she's eventually going to have to take care of Tyler, though. He's going to be a problem.
I like Jack, but dude...man up. Why is he listening to Nolan? Nolan has to buy friends.
Victoria...I felt bad for you last week, but this week, nope. You are a shrew! Why did she have Amanda committed? Was it guilt? Or something else? Just seemed far too cruel to do that to a child. All I can say is she's going to reap what she sowed. She created Emily and Emily is going to destroy her.

Revenge got picked up for a full season! I am excited. Now I can relax and stop worrying that we wouldn't get to see how Emanda's schemes play out.

BUT he's either trimmed or shaved (hard to tell in last night's episode). Still, the show is well worth watching, if you feel like raising your fist and yelling "REVENGE!!!" at your TV set. Uh, not that I would ever do that.
Someone on EW's message boards brought up a good question: what's up with the "g" in the logo for Revenge? Is it an "8"? Is it a pink ribbon? Is it a sideways Infinity symbol? Does it mean something?
So glad we have a full season. This show is so. much. fun!!!

This show is Amazing. I loved Emily VanCamp in Everwood, but she is just hitting it out of the park here. I can't wait to see how this develops each week. I was actually pissed because Tyler was fucking up Emily's plan.
Also, I am seriously coveting the dress she wore to the tea. It was stunning!
