Rewatching that, knowing that Tyler has a tendency to swipe Daniel's phone - it seems like there's a degree of ambiguity as to whether it was Daniel or possibly Tyler who was killed. We never really see the victim's face enough and it could be Tyler holding Daniel's phone when Emily calls. Victoria starts screaming "Daniel" but that's before she even gets to the beach and the body is IDed.

Tyler's dirty, so I could see him being the one that is killed. Who knows his real reason for being in the Hamptons, cut off from the family. Maybe something went down at school between him and Tyler.

Good point. If "LOST" didn't make it clear -- and if "American Horror Story" didn't hammer it home with the subtlety of a neutron bomb -- nothing is as it seems.

Well, recalling the amount of beer and weed I offered to my collegiate, gymnast best friend (and first crush), I hope Tyler has/had better luck with Daniel than I had with "Don".

I really love this show - it's so deliciously soapy. And just straightforward about it.

That said, what the hell is with Connor Paolo's terrible accent? Neither Jack or his dad had one that affected, so I don't get why he has the world's most stereotypically "working class" accent. It's just awful! He'll always be Eric Van Der Woodsen to me.

I don't think Jack is that interesting either.

Madeline Stowe is so fucking fierce in this. Love her icy bitchiness. I don't know how the current plot could justify it, but if later seasons consisted of her and Emily teaming up to wreak havoc and destroy people, it would be the best.

Yes, yes, and yes to all of the above. I couldn't care less about the townies. Bring on the filthy rich bitches duking it out! The scenes between Victoria and Emanda are just electric. And I too covet Victoria's awesome chair, which vaguely resembles a throne, which I'm sure is intentional.

This is going to sound weird, but I like that the character seeking revenge is a woman. She is kicking ass, unforgiving, and I just love it!

This show is so good. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Well, except for those moments when the youngins took me out of the story.

Emily's voiceover gave me chills. Victoria...oh, how I love your icy bitchiness! Tyler is a user. A creepy, little user. GTFO my screen!
