At this point, I'm hoping that Myrtle is the last one standing. She's incredibly fabulous. I'm loving her fashion bon mots.

Just a side note, I liked that Queenie's Hell was working back at the Chicken Shack. If you've ever worked FastFood- believe me, that would be your Hell. (Plus it was a convenient double Hell for the folks who could smell the chicken but never get a bite. Hee.) Papa Legba skipping line at the faux Bojangles and telling the guy off was one of my favorite parts of the episode. (Half-baked Beetlejuice, indeed. Just make sure he has enough marshmallows in his post-underworld hot cocoa.) The Misty Day smackdown of Julia's niece was also worth the price of admission - particularly the literal kick in the ass. (I do hope Misty gets Stevie's shawl back! She might need it for the 7 Wonders showdown.) Myrtle: Bloody blood blood all day in this place. Is his death really necessary? Madison: He's a psycho mass murderer! Myrtle: Is there anyone here for whom that could not be said? It's little exchanges like that which make this my favorite season. The story is scattered, but neither Murder House nor Asylum had as much humor or camp as this one does.

I do like the camp in this one! Myrtle has some really classic lines.
I'm still disappointed with how they offed Nan. Her subplot with the neighbor was totally unnecessary but I liked the idea of someone with a disability/special needs having supernatural powers. I do hope Fiona is really dead; she wore out her welcome with me (and how many people can keep coming back from the dead?). It's not a big deal if it happens to every character.

Some more Stevie in honor of tonight's finaleWho will live to see the 7 wonders and make a path to the rainbow's end? (With this show my money is on nobody. They all die and Fiona strolls off into the night as some jazz plays!)

Just watched this and thought the ending, even with its sad moments, was compelling. I liked this season because of its mainly female cast with POC in positions of power, but often felt the narrative was kinda sloppy and not as tight as say, the original AHS "murder house" or even Asylum. BTW, what happened to Bassett's character? Part of my issue with this season was knowing that, for the most part, the threat of death was empty; death didn't = 'the end' for most characters. What did you think? Sad at one death, strangely excited over another.

I'm not sure I want to reveal anything, but one part confused me concerning Kyle and Spalding.

Outside of "Silver Springs", I thought it was a mess. Since we just saw them transmute, why didn't Madison just transmute herself out of Kyle's clutches? And I was certain that Kyle was going to breathe life into... Taissa's character and turn out to be The Supreme. And what did Misty do horribly to deserve Biology Class for eternity?
Some funny lines (Madison's version of hell), but a complete mess of a season. Bring back Nazi Alien Anne Frank.

She doesn't want to murder them. I could see how that would be Misty's Hell. I wouldn't want to be back in biology class.

I think the issue for Misty is she felt compelled to bring her dead frog to life, and the teacher would make her kill it over and over. I thought it was a depressing way for her to die, as she was a decent witch. That was more a hell for Madison--stuck in pilot season or something. I agree that any particular bit of time in high school would be hellish for me.
I totally thought Kyle might be a supreme too! THAT would've been a twist, but it would've negated the whole idea of female empowerment. I assumed Kyle & Spalding carry each other's secrets and Kyle ended his dalliance with whats-her-name.

It made me laugh that Fiona's hell was being stuck at the farm in Covington because that's where my family is from. LOL.
Misty's death and eternity made me so sad.
