I DVR'd it but didn't get the first ten minutes. Did I miss anything huge? Is it on Hulu?

The show started with Emma on a "date" and that's where we learned she was a bail bonds woman as her "date" was a guy who had skipped out. I think we also may have seen snow white sleeping in her glass coffin surrounded by the seven dwarfs. The Prince showed up, kissed her and she woke up.
Good news! The show had the best debut for ABC this season amongst new shows and it also had the best debut in the 18-49 age category of shows across all networks

That is good news! I actually liked this show and thought the premise was interesting.

I thought it was a good start, but I want more information. Hopefully, each episode reveals a bit more. It is interesting seeing (and guessing) fairytale characters as modern people. Is Jiminy Cricket an actual character from Pinnochio or did Disney make him up?

It's on On Demand so you can see it that way if you missed it. Pretty good.

There was a talking cricket in the orignal story, Disney just gave him a name. He was referred to only as The Talking Cricket prior to that. Just like the seven dwarves didn't have names until the Disney movie.

Loved the premiere, it was a nice solid start to the show. I don't really like Jennifer Morrison on House, but she is great in this role. I think they could have done a better job casting the queen because she doesn't seem scary enough to me. Everyone else is pretty good, though. The sheriff's hot! The best thing about this show is that it reminds me of a live action Disney movie, like the ones they used to make for TV, so that's pretty cool.
The only thing that really bugged me was Ginnifer Goodwin's eyebrows! They are so dark-- why? That made her look a little crazy. She and Jennifer Morrison do look alike, another good call with the casting.

Found out one friend is working on this show and another reps a minor character, so to uTorrent I go.

I'm glad it did well in the ratings. I hope it hold though. I ate it up soaked in strawberry jam.

I enjoyed this so far. I'm not sure if I want to see them stretch it out as long as something like Lost, but I'm going to keep watching it just for Robert Carlyle alone. Me too! I really like Robert Carlyle and I think he's great in both the fairy tale parts and the 'real world' parts. I just wish that Jennifer Morrison would dye her hair dark again, like on the first couple seasons of House. She looks so much prettier as a brunette.
