Sigh.Today I'll bypass my DVDs of Andy Griffith and Christmas Story, and unearth my old battered taped-off-TV of No Deposit, No Return, crack a Crown soda, and drink a toast to a couple of consummate veterans who could enhance and transcend even 70's Disney movies. RIP, "Duke", and "Bert Delaney".

Ah, the NightStalker is gone. He was the precorser to the X-Files and all other horror-mystery shows to follow. Underrated actor. On another note I'm really convinced the horrible new version of Nightstalker contributed to his death. I watched one episode and was almost put in a coma.

Bummer. I remember watching The Night Stalker after Hot L Baltimore and before The Sixth Sense on Fridays. That was the first Real Sci-Fi Fridays...
(Well, except for Hot L Baltimore. But Conchita Farrell wore a mini skirt and played a hooker, so you could think of it as a horror show.)

He actually won an Emmy for his role as Murphy's dad.
RIP: The Old Man. "He looks like a deranged Easter Bunny!"

I'm really really sad about this. "A Christmas Story" is very special to me. I was born in the "region", not too far from the actual grade school used in the movie. Gary Collins! Hah. Was that a show spin off of 'Night Gallery'? I know later on they kind of smooshed the two shows together in syndication.
