I must be the only person in the world who doesn't love Ferris or his movie. Maybe I saw the movie too late in life, but I just don't get it. I'm with you except... I walked out of the theater many moons ago. I was like 15 or something. However, somehow I've seen the movie now. I'm not sure how that happened and it did grow on me a bit. |

I grew up watching it repeatedly as a kid. I always thought Ferris was a jerk. I remember rooting for the sister and Cameron. I mean, 'cmon. Spoiled white guy has it all? Who freakin' cares. Team depressed teenager and bitchy sister!

I liked it when I saw it growing up but still thought he was a bit of a jerk. Now, as an adult, I REALLY think he's a jerk. His sister got shit on constantly. No wonder she was in a bad mood nearly the whole movie.

I know! It's a totally quotable movie, but I was rooting for Jeannie (and hated that she turned into a giggly tool in front of Charlie Sheen) and Cameron. One of my favorite Cracked articles has a fan theory that the whole movie takes place in Cameron's head, and I love watching it that way.

I rolled my eyes so much at that article. I love Ferris Bueller as much as the next guy, but he's a fictional character and I could not care less if he's in a commercial. As long as it's entertaining I'm good. Ferris Bueller: SRS BZNS I'll bet if we stuck a lump of coal up this writer's ass, a week later we'd have a diamond. (<-- c whut I did thar?) |

Full Length, Extended Commercial released by Honda Heh. It's actually cheesy, but funny at the same time all the Ferris references. Honda says that there are actually more than two dozen of them in the extended version. My favorite is the license plate that's saying, "So Choice". It would have been even better if Alan Ruck was randomly in a shot at the ball game or Jennifer Gray was in there, too.

I never saw the movie. I think Matthew is looking pretty darn cute for his age. And I think he's straight.
