Yes, with women. I've just heard that he cheats all the time and that's why you rarely rarely see him and SJP together and that he is completely difficult to work with.

I find it amazing that he'd be difficult to work with. The guy should be thankful for every role he gets. He isn't a very good actor and he aged weird. I loved him in Ferris, but he's been awful in everything I've seen him in since. |

When did they start living apart? Those twins are still pretty young for "haven't been together in years". They why have babies together?
I don't know, sometimes it feels like all men have to either be cheaters or gay (or both). Maybe Matthew is sleeping with Ben Affleck.

By the time the babies were born in 2009 they had been living separately for a while. They didn't publicly address it but sort of floated the idea that with Matthew being on Broadway all the time he needed to be closer to work. (Because that commute from the Village is so grueling!) And they've been buying and selling so many properties in New York lately that the press can never quite figure out what the deal is.
I wondered why they had the babies and thought maybe the surrogacy process takes so long that it was already in motion, but now I think they think this whole arrangement is fine and intend it to be permanent.

So does SJP get to have any action on the side? I can't imagine why one would stay in a marriage of convenience in this day and age. I remember there being rumours about her and Chris Noth during SATC days, but she doesn't seem his type.
