Yes, I'm a nerd, but this really looks intriguing. Three teen boys gain the ability to move things with their minds. I'm intrigued with the trailers. It actually looks like what would happen if a person did get superpowers, instead of saying fighting crime. Plus it's getting decent reviewsI know no one else has seen it, but I just saw it and I thought it was really innovative. Maybe this will catch on as a DVD. The story is told initially from the perspective of a high school outcast who begins to document things with a video camera. Turning the camera on his bullies provides an interesting narrative shift. Plus the lead looks like a younger, strung out Leo DeCaprio.

We watched this last night. The perspective thing with the cameras got a bit old. But we all enjoyed it or the most part.

While I usually find the hand held camera angle gimmick annoying, it worked well here. It lended to the realistic feel of the movie (well, as realistic as a movie about kids gaining superpowers can be).

I saw this and liked it a lot. I do think the main character's camera stuff got annoying but I think that was part of it all: He wasn't even secure enough to speak without his camera. I also thought the buildup of cute to semi-dangerous antics and beyond were worked out well. I thought the end scene went on a bit long but overall it was definitely better than your average 1) sci-fi 2) teen coming of age and 3) bully movie.

what got annoying wasn't the fact that it was hand-held. I meant, I got annoyed at the improbability that all that would be captured on his camera or the other girl's or at the end, the other cameras in the areas they were in. But I know that once you start that gimmick, you have to stick with it.
And I mean improbable even in the universe the movie occupies.

I caught this on cable the other night and I loved it. Dale DeHaan was terrific. I'm always happy to see Michael B. Jordan getting work as I am a big Wirehead. The performances really elevated the story.
