Can I wear a black dress to a June wedding (3 pm)? Or is that not cool? If it's a city wedding, it should be fine as long as you've accessorized for a wedding. yup. A black veil is definitely out.

Can anyone recommend a soothing clay-based facial cleanser? I seem to be becoming more sensitive to my Renova (only using it every other night now), and the one thing that helps the excessive pinkness is a clay mask by Boscia. I was thinking that a cleanser like that in the morning would be just the ticket...

I've heard good things about Bioelements clay based cleansers though I've personally never tried their cleansers.
Is it ok to apply eyeliner just on the upper lids? The people I know also eyeliner on the waterline or lower lids of their eyes and I have images of poking my eyes out if I attempt to do that.

Is it ok to apply eyeliner just on the upper lids? That's what I do. If I apply mascara or eyeliner to my lower lid, I look like a sad hound puppy. It smudges easily on me, too. Lately, I've been using an eyeliner brush to lightly dab some shadow (which is obviously drier than liner or mascara) to the lower lid for some definition if I feel like it. ETA: Typo.

I've become increasingly fond of brushes with gel or clay eyeliners. If you haven't looked, there are a billionty makeup tutorials on YouTube and elsewhere. Hand to Xenu's tentacle, these are usually awesome. I've also learned how to wear a hijab in several ways, put my hair in paper-bag curls, and how to change a bicycle tire. Thanks YouTube!

I almost never use liner on my lower lash line -- makes my piggy little eyes seem even smaller!

Thanks guys! Upper eyelash only it is! And yeah, YouTube is the first place I hit if I want a tutorial of some kind. YouTube just isn't for posting videos of zits being popped and morons doing their best Jackass impressions!
