Those are really nice boots, Batmom, and they're not so trendy that you won't be able to wear them for years to come. Looks like a good buy to me.
Regarding Botox: I may ask my dermatologist to inject some at some point -- I've got a massive vertical crease between my brows and some pretty good forehead lines, the consequence of many years of squinting, and would dearly love to be rid of them or at least have them smoothed a bit -- but I'm not ready yet.

One of my gfs wants to get botox - and wants me to go with her and get it done too! Hmmmm. Tempted. I do have a wrinkle just above the bridge of my nose that is going to get deeper and nastier with age, I suspect. But I worry that botox would be a slippery slope for me. I'd go in intending to get one wrinkle zapped and would come out looking like Melanie Griffiths.

I have shoes from BR. They're good quality and I like them quite a bit. I think there's a coupon out for 30% off sale (online) that I can pass along to you if you didn't get it in your email! Thanks. I got it too which is what prompted the renewed longing (I've been eying them for a while.) I ordered them, along with a couple of things for Batguy so that I wouldn't feel greedy.

I use a clarisonic mia almost daily. That's weird that your skin reacted poorly. What cleanser are you using with it? You may want to stick to something for sensitive skin. I think some skin types need to start slow and work up to it. I have sensitive, dry skin (with adult acne), but I've never broken out due to it. However, I did after I had a glycolic peel too soon after I had been using a strong OTC exfoliating product. My skin was red, flakey and bumpy for days. I was gross, but it cleared up. I wouldn't continue to use the cleanser and hold off on the Clarisonic for a few days.

Yep, red, flakey and bumpy was it. And feeling a little raw. The soap I've been using is for sensitive skin. I gave it up for a few days and am now only using the Clarisonic at night.
Maybe I'll buy a delicate brush head. I just hate to think that I spent $150 on something I can't really use.

My skin broke out when I first started using my Clairsonic. I have the original one. I was overexfoliating. I switch to delicate head and I was fine.

kanding, that's exactly how my skin was. I was all, "look away, I'm hideous." I use mine a few times a week but not every day. I found putting CeraVe brand moisturizer from Walgreens helped a lot.
Try a delicate brush head. If that doesn't work, return it.
Can I wear a black dress to a June wedding (3 pm)? Or is that not cool?

Yeah, I think you're both right. I'm going to buy a delicate brush head and if that doesn't work, I guess I've got a great gadget for my shoulders and chest.

I think that black is fine to a wedding, and black lace to a June wedding is fine if it's not too heavy looking.

Can I wear a black dress to a June wedding (3 pm)? Or is that not cool? If it's a city wedding, it should be fine as long as you've accessorized for a wedding.
