The kids didn't seem miserable. They were a little more "on" because of the producers prodding, but overall, they seem pretty normal. Even Mady. Her behavior and age finally match up. She's always been what would politely be referred to as a difficult child, but 13-year-old girls have varying degrees of difficulty and, relatively speaking, Mady isn't all that bad.

Former "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star Jon Gosselin's family has some new additions ... two turntables and a microphone.

Gosselin tells TMZ he's ready to get the party started as a full-time DJ and go the route of Paris Hilton -- who's made beaucoup bucks spinning -- but he know he's gotta build his skills first.

He says he got hooked back in the '90s ... then a few years ago tagged along with an ex who's in the biz and got an itchin' for scratchin'. Now he's learning the ropes with 30-year vet, DJ Koolie.

Gosselin's been gigging on the reg, but not to pay child support ... he reportedly dodged that bullet when Kate waived her right to money in return for Jon allowing her to put the kids back on TV.

Where has he been gigging on the reg? I want video!!

While Kate's shrieking is pretty much nails on a chalkboard to me, I can now understand why she harped on him so much. The manchild is clearly useless on his own.

So Jon was a sales manager who was supposed to go out in the field and hawk the product. Instead, Securus claims he was a Benedict Arnold, convincing merchants to abandon the company for a competing company he was secretly helping.

Jon Gosselin, double agent 000. What a conniving motherfucker. Usually connivers are smart, but Jon breaks the mold. He's conniving and stupid.

I've been watching Kate Plus 8 and Kate seems to be in a much better place mentally than where she left off with TLC. She's not all zen and perfect by any means, just more of a normal mom dealing with normal problems. TLC kicking her to the curb (albeit temporarily) and her subsequent failures were the best thing that could have happened to her and the kids. They needed to be brought back down to Earth.

Remember how TMZ reported Jon showing up at Kate's yard sale episode? Well, if he was there, TLC didn't show him, not even a glimpse. He must have gone there looking for trouble or TV time or both. He didn't need to be sneaky to see his kids because there was mention of a few of them visiting with him, so apparently he still gets occasional visitation. And if you ask me, that's very generous of Kate. He really is a bad influence.

And it obviously didn't pan out with the other company or he'd be working for them. So he did it for nothing. You gotta admit- if there's one thing Jon is good at, it's failing at Life.
