The old thread needed an updated look, so we got it some hair extensions and a new wardrobe.

I thought Jon would bring the douchetastic entertainment again, but so far he is very quiet. He only does 2 or 3 tweets for days at a time. I'm pasting my post from the old thread if that's okay. ------------------------------------------------------------------- So Kate tweeted about the wonderful family movie night she had. How do I know it was a wonderful family movie night? Because she tweeted throughout the entire time they were watching the movie and spending time "together." I'm not talking a couple of tweets here and there, I'm talking like hundreds within a few hours' time. These tweets about the lovely time she was having with the kids were interrupted by ones of her arguing with trolling haters and accepting congrats from her online friends for smacking them down. WTF!? Is she 15?? I have teenagers and they usually understand that "family time" means not constantly texting and playing with their phones. And when they do I remind them (okay, okay, I guilt and nag them!) and they stop. Playing on your phone when you're family is gathered in the living room together or at dinner or any time you are together as a family is fucking RUDE! Can you tell this is a pet peeve of mine? Anyway, here's Kate's proof of the fun times being had: LINK. She tweeted that the kids have to sit there on what she calls "the stripe" while they're eating buttery popcorn to avoid a mess. Sigh. Believe it or not I really do try not to judge Kate as a parent. I understand that different families can be happy in different ways, but sometimes...Ugh! Let the kids eat on the couch. Use a couch cover and have them help clean the mess if it's such a burden. And, for the love of adulthood, get the fuck off your phone! Okay, insane rant over.

In her mind, her future livelihood is based on keeping people interested in her and her kids... I would bet her kids don't get a fraction of the time she gives to her twitter followers.

Oh that looks fun. Just like how she used to tape down an area for them to sit and open Christmas presents. There's a (striped?) line between organized and rigid. She's got a giant stick up her butt.

At the risk of sounding like the typical Television Without Pity poster does Kate have a milder form of OCD? I get that she needs to maintain some control when it comes to messes or things could easily get out of hand with so many kids. But she's actually had some emotional outbursts over this kind of thing. I remember one old episode where the kids were carving pumpkins and she went bananas over the mess and had to immediately stop everything to pull up the paper their pumpkins were sitting on. I'm not a diagnostician so I could totally be talking out of my ass, but at the very least she seems incredibly neurotic and I doubt her neurotic behavior stems entirely from external pressures. She's a crazy rigid bitch

I have 9 kids and cannot fathom behaving the way KG does. The predominant thought that comes to mind when I read about the way she treats her children is "FREAK!"
There's nothing wrong with wanting to keep things organized, but what she demands is beyond mere organization. I wouldn't be surprised if she has OCD. She seems to have SOMETHING (more than "entitlement complex the size of the Grand Canyon").

Those kids are never going to learn to be individuals if she keeps treating them like an organic unit.

Those kids are never going to learn to be individuals if she keeps treating them like an organic unit. But organic units are so much more healthful than the regular kind!
