There's a new Jason Statham movie coming out! It opens January 25 and is about a con man seeking revenge!!!! Action! Fistfights! Hirsuteness! Car chases! Everything you want in a winter action flick!!! Probably on her way down as I've seen about four commercials for this movie and this is the first I've heard that she's in it. Oh, and Jennifer Lopez is in it too. That trailer kills a little piece of my cinephile soul every time I see it, because I am a YOOGE Statham fan and don't appreciate being sucked into her orbit. We also trying to figure out if this means he's on the way up, or she's on the way down. |

I just saw the trailer for that and didnt even see her. It was all Statham.
I think she is beautiful, but cookoo bananas. I wish she would fully own to it.

Well, it's a January release, which doesn't bode well. But, on the flip side, if it does well, Statham will get all of the credit given the way it's being promoted. Jennifer seems to have a lot riding on a film that is not at all a star vehicle for her.

I watched pre show......Diddy and Ben Affleck are there. Maybe they will put them all at the same table. hahaha I would watch that.

So I fix my plate, turn on the pre-show, and literally as I sat down, the camera was panning down the dress, and I couldn't see the head attached to the person who was wearing a nightgown/negligee to the Globes, and I still INSTANTLY knew it was her.  How sad her life must be. This is her only talent--showing up in something "outrageous" to awards shows. That is her schtick. She's the new Phoebe Price or that other lady that always shows up at the Oscars. |

She has been desperately trying to have another "moment" with a dress since 2000, when she wore the green Versace dress that caused a stir. She always comes off as desperate.

I have come to expect JLO wearing revealing dresses to award shows and strangely I dont mind it so much. This is her thing, thats what she always does and she seems to totally enjoy it and own the room. However, that was one of ugliest things she's worn, even for her. Her make up was pretty bad too. Paired with the fact that she brought her back up dancer as her date she seemed even sadder and out of place to me that Jessica Alba. Once upon a time she was on top of the world, as a singer and actress, albeit not critically so. Now she dates Casper Bear and gets the second or third bill in a Jason Statham movie. She doesnt seem to have many friends in Hollywood does she?
