I really disliked her dress. Does she ever feel embarrassed that she gets an invitation to these award shows, but she's never nominated, or even part of an ensemble that is?

That dress totally could have worked for her with a thinner lining. I'll never understand why she always wears "see-through" dresses lined with what appears to be the same material as old-school support hose.

This is her thing, thats what she always does and she seems to totally enjoy it and own the room. However, that was one of ugliest things she's worn, even for her. Her make up was pretty bad too. I was going to mention that: that bringing Casper showed how sad she has become. It was never an issue for me before since I am all for women dating younger men, but it actually looked embarassing that she was there with a man half her age who is a back up dancer in a room of accomplished and prestigious actors.

Her sad state was particularly emphasized by the fact that even her former lover Ben Affleck is now becoming a member of elite Hollywood and was there with his respectable wife picking up prestigious awards while Jlo was sitting there in a tacky dress with her low-rent dancer boyfriend.

Jlo had Ben when he was a joke, but Jennifer Garner now has him when he has Hollywood respect. And, Jlo is still a joke. I wonder if any of this dawned on her as she stood up to clap for her former boyfriend as he made his way up to the podium to receive his award?

She is truly sad. She may feel that American Idol gave her career a shot in the arm, but it really did not. Her movie career is still on life support and I don't think her greatest hit album from last year went gold. It certainly did not go platinum. In essence, her career is where it was before she signed to American Idol although, yes, her profile is higher with endorsements, magazine covers and more visibility.

But, none of this has changed her real career, which is singing and acting. And, now that she no longer has American Idol, I truly wonder how her next album will do since American Idol helped her promote her albums, neither of which went platinum.

She is sad and I am pretty sure that many actors in the room don't take her seriously.

I rag on Ben all the time because I feel like he’s douchey when it comes to his personal life, however I have no trouble believing that Ben is a professional and has made plenty of friends in Hollywood, even during his shitty years. The standing ovation he received when he won is a testament of the goodwill from his peers. On the other hand, Jlo was terrible during the golden years with her diva attitude and pissing off a lot of people along the way. It doesn’t seem too difficult to me to be nice to someone like George Clooney who seems pretty easy going and accommodating when it comes to on set behavior. I mean the guy is friends with Julia Roberts and we all know that no one can be any more of a diva than Julia. How much did she piss Clooney off? If she’d be friends with him, he might have cast her in one of the many movies he directed so she could slowly build credibility. She can be decent in the hands of a good director and with small parts here and there she could have built a better resume. The diva in her couldn’t be bothered to be nice to people she worked with and thought Hollywood would always be kissing her ass. She should have been smarter about managing her career especially being a Latina where minority women still struggle for parts. But she didn’t because her ego is much bigger than her brain and now she’ll be slowly relegated to irrelevance until she’s not sexy enough to be invited to present.
