I should hate PCD, but somehow I don't. I have admit that they've got some well-produced pop , and I think Nicole is one of the most beautiful women in current pop music. When I first saw the "Don't Cha" video I was shocked that she was gorgeous in addition to having a decent voice.

It's interesting how there are fewer successful girl groups in the last few years as compared to the glut of boy bands at one time. You have Destiny's Child of course. The Spice Girls were gimmicky and appealed more to the tween crowd. I like that PCD is "adult" enough that I wouldn't be embarrased to buy their CD, but yeah, it's basically the one singer and backup dancers. And now we have Danity Kane- where did that name come from? I didn't watch Making The Band. And there's Cherish. Did TLC ever get a new member from that reality show?

I thought they asked her to join the PCD cause they needed a "lead" singer, and no one already in the dance/burlesque whatever they are could carry the group. I think she just signed on to be the "lead" for one album, and then in the meantime they were teaching the other girls to sing so they wouldn't have to have a lead. I can't for the life of me remember where I heard this, so no source or anything. I too remember her from Eden's Crush. I love her voice, but I really hate the stupid PCD and all they stand for. They try to play the "we're so empowered and in control of our sexuality" card, but they really are just glorified pole dancers and I find them really degrading and counter-feminist. But, that's JMHO.

I just read somewhere that in an interview for Blender magazine Nicole denies that she has left PCD and says it's just rumors. Apparently, according to this interview, she says she will be on their next album. Interesting. I looked and I can't find anything on this supposed Blender interview where she says she's still with Pussycat Dolls and hasn't quit. So I can't back that claim up.

I did however find a leak of one of the tracks on her album called Steam. I like it. I think it's hot. The album she's recording to release in November might actually be good.

The Pussycat Dolls are all salaried employees of their record company; i.e. essentially completely disposable at any time. I'd always thought/heard the plan was that Nicole was only sticking around for one album before using the band as a launching pad for a solo career. Also, the remaining members are supposedly participating in a reality show to find the next lead/member. So I'm pretty certain she's leaving. She might make some guest appearances on the next album or something.

I read an article on them in Maxim a while back (supposedly Christina Applegate was the original MC for the group...hate her tons, esp. for the new JSimp video), and it was so sickening about how liberated they think they are.

Yeah, if I hear another young woman say they think Don't Cha is 'empowering' I'm going to punch myself in the face. 'I'm much, much hotter than your girlfriend and she is totally jealous of me and my hotness, and I could steal you in a hot minute....but I won't, because I'm such a good, not to mention hot, person'. Blah.

Well, thanks to you guys I finally know this chick's name. Nicole. Anyone else think she looks a great deal like the gorgeous woman from Rush Hour? Rosalind Sanchez, I believe her name is. I never knew the Pussycat Dolls were so disposable, but it makes sense. It's just Nicole and the others. I don't understand why there need to be six PCD. Four would do.

Eta: I also wish the PCD would put on some pants. And maybe a whole shirt. I'm tired of seeing them naked and writhing in their whore boots.

Okay guys. It looks like a lot of y'all just can't see past the Pussycat Dolls stink.

I was looking at it a lot more open-minded and maybe my sense of smell is dead but I'm not attaching PCD stink to her seeing as she has left or is at least by all appearances she's scheming on leaving if she can get her solo out, and PCD was just a means to an end for her, from what I can tell.

She's 28 which I don't think is too old as someone put it but it definately means there is pressure on her to do whatever it takes by any means necessary to breakthrough right motherfucking now, that I do acknowledge. So when PCD came along I don't blame her for joining with a view to finally getting that solo career going.

She must have been through a lot of turn downs to have gotten to 28 before having the chance to launch herself. Unless she wasn't trying to launch herself in music at all but was busy modelling or doing something else all this time?? I don't know I don't know much about Nicole.

And to whomever said she looks like Roselyn Sanchez that is funny because in the movie Chasing Papi Roselyn's character, Lorena, is falsely appropriating Ms Puerto Rico's identity and it turns out Nicole is the real Ms Puerto Rico. And they do look alike.
