Borokat, I'm hoping it was a fake-out too like the cards. I agree with you about the homage to Bill Bixby.
I forgot my shallow comments: Chris Evans' ass is magnificent. Pure perfection. Followed closely by Renner's ass and arms. Seeing all that in 3D got this girl a little flustered.
I want to see this movie again. Like right now. OMG, it was soooo good.

There was no shirtlessness, but I feel Joss did right by us by having Thor go sleeveless for as long as possible, giving us the amazing boxing scene with Cap, and then that great shot of Black Widow, Cap, and Hawkeye walking into battle. Three amazing asses right there.
I don't feel nearly guilty enough about writing this out.

No mention of Tom Hiddleston as Loki? Because he really knocked it out of the park. I now want to rent the Thor movie.

I thought that he was an awesome villain, Mouse. I liked him because he was never the Big Baddie, he was kind of the snarky, snot-nosed little brother villain. But in his cluelessness, he unleashed the real threat that he never would truly be able to control. He really thought that he could be king of Earth and everyone around him was just humoring him.

Yes, I thought Hiddleston was fantastic. I loved his evil grin whenever things were going to shit.

Yeah, Loki was an awesome villain and Hiddleston's cut-glass accent was a pleasure. The horns were a little silly though but I guess that goes with the "Shakespeare in the Park" territory.
This movie made $200M this weekend, the biggest opening weekend in movie history! I think The Dark Knight Rises now has a very serious competitor for the summer box office crown.

I really loved it. All these weeks of limiting any potential online spoilage paid off (yes I'm a dork). Parts of it were extremely funny, everyone was laughing so hard I could barely hear the dialogue for a minute afterward.
They did a really good job balancing everyone's roles and keeping it all pulled together without any weird, extraneous scenes. Pretty amazing considering the number of superheroes.
The second after credits scene was so awesome. Most of the audience left after the first one, but even so, you could hear the handful of us giggling like crazy.

Alexis Denisof was in the movie?? Where? Shamelessly I would go see the movie just to spot him. What I loved most about the Hulk is that he was fun. Even Bruce had a nice sly humor that wasn't wacked out on emo angst. Spoilered just in case: Apparently AD was the voice of the creepy alien in the mask that Loki was dealing with. I'm not sure if that was him under the makeup, I've only read reports that it was his voice. So don't feel bad if you didn't spot him, it would have been impossible. Thanks, Babycakes I never would have figured that out. Good to know for the next time I see it!

I read in EW last night that Ruffalo and his ten-year-old son watched the Hulk TV series in preparation for the role. I knew it!
