Oh god. I don't have high hopes for him being able to pull off a Southern accent. It's notoriously hard, and I don't know that I have ever heard a good one from anyone outside of the U.S.
I'm not even kidding, sometimes I have to stop watching True Blood because the bad accents give me a headache. And I laughed my ass off watching Cold Mountain. Jude Law and Nicole Kidman were unintentionally hilarious.

He does an okay southern accent. I love what he is reading here though. Anyway, lets hope he can improve it. |

I have been resisting the Tom HIddleston crush movement but then I saw an interview with him and I’m going to have to jump aboard.
He is going to be my new Fassbender, which is convenient since they look so much alike that I saw a picture of him and would have sworn it was Fassy. Whereas with Fassy I have to overlook a LOT of things (the overt sluttiness, the partying, the sometimes looking 20 years older than he is, the corn teeth), I haven’t seen anything wrong with Hiddleston yet…He’s funny, he does great impressions, he can dance, he’s cute, he’s extremely well educated.
Please no one tell me he’s actually a huge jerk.
