I thought the rumor was he was standing in for Chris Evans, who was really dating her but didn't want America to think he was a hound dog... Hahaha. That horse is so far out of the barn it isn't even funny.

Please...Chris Evans is screwing everything he can in Atlanta. Hahaha, I bet he is. I've even forgiven Chris Evans for "Cellular."

I like em as a couple. US Weekly made it sound very casual and said they were mostly texting each other while apart...which didn't make it sound like a light-the-world-on-fire romance.
The Hiddlestans are consoling each other and thinking about breaking up with Tom since they have decided he is probably a homewrecker. (Elizabeth broke off an engagement with some guy, which became public last January.)

The meltdowns are remarkably similar to the meltdowns the Cumbercrazies had when it was announced he was getting married/expecting a baby. Right down to the random caps and hysterical insistence this isn't the real Tom. Is there some sort of handbook crazy fans are required to follow? Well if nothing else perhaps Tom can call up his pal Benedict for advice on how to irrational fans. Sophie and Elizabeth could for drinks.

I'll never understand the craziness. I remember being younger and having my favorite idols but when they were dating or married I didn't freak out about it. But then again I didn't have access to social media outlets that now allows like minded people to validate every opinion no matter how strange.

Before the crazies didn't have access to other crazies. They probably felt that they were the only ones, felt ashamed and kept their insanity to themselves.

Another annoying facet of this sort of thing is now people consider themselves very savvy about Hollywood and tabloid culture, so whenever their idol dates someone, it's always a big publicity sham. I mean really - Benedict Cumberbatch got married and brought a child into the world just to slightly boost his chances of edging out Eddie Redmayne in their Oscar campaigns? And that "dishonesty" gives them an excuse to direct their anger back at their idol when they are simply mad that he has a girlfriend.

It's like they expect these people not to have lives, and resent the people around them when they do. What? You thought your celeb crush was never going to date and get married and have kids like normal people do?

Well Tumblr is the gift that keeps on giving. These people are nuts
So apparently Tom is supposed to remain celibate to keep their lame fantasies alive, or he has to marry each and every one of the loons.

I don't know all that much about Elizabeth Olsen but she seems smart and fun and self possessed - basically what he said he wanted.
