Considering how ubiquitous the song "Faith" was for years after it came out, it's weird that out of all of George Michael's/Wham's songs, it's the one I hear played the least.

You'll hear it. That is my karaoke jam! It's such a good and easy song for my vocal range! That and "I can't go for that (no can do)" by Hall and Oates. Child of the 80's am I!

Sirius XM channel 13 is currently "Faith--A George Michael Tribute" channel for a limited time. My girls and I listened to it all day yesterday while driving back to my home town for family stuff. So many great songs and a few that I had not heard before but plan to download soon.

The cause of death has been released, and it was not, as rumors were saying, suicide. It was natural causes. And he died in his sleep, which is a very nice way to go. It's how my Mom passed too. I miss them both. Also in that link is Chris Martin's performance of A Different Corner, performed at the BRIT Awards... last week, I think.

I'd put a link in Recently Deceased thread, I should looked for his own thread, I should have realised he had one.
Be at Peace George and Thank you for the music. x

It's my favorite of his, and requires a more soulful voice than Martin's to really shine.

Gosh, its only now that cause of death is known that George's family can finally lay him to rest. So very distressing for his family and friends.
I'll say it again Be at peace and rest easy now George. Your music is forever.💜

I shouldn't have watched the BRIT awards clip; I'm teary-eyed now. I'm glad to hear it was confirmed to be natural causes and nothing that can be sensationalized.

Still sad about his death, but I'm so happy it was natural. He can Rest In Peace without the scandal of drugs tainting it.
