I just saw this and my friend and I really enjoyed it! I spent a lot of time trying to figure out who the actor was playing the bad alien but didn't realise it was Jemaine Clement until the credits. I should have recognised that voice! And he was really scary. The time travel stuff was well done and everything tied together in the end, and as others have mentioned there was some sweetness to the movie.
What Diva stuff did Will Smith do?

A lot, apparently. Insanely large trailer, demanding A SET be rebuilt, putting his entourage on the payroll, etc. They also started shooting without a script (in order to get him before he was contracted to start another film), which is *always* a good idea.

It's come in below MIB/MIB2 opening numbers. With a budget between $225-300M, I wonder if it'll have the legs to make a serious profit. Probably not with an additional $100-150M for its marketing budget. Goodness gracious.
I heard it was the best of the 3. Might see it next week, but it's definitely not on my must see list.

Thanks for the link, Hunter. And, Yikes, what a diva. Too bad his behavior drove up the cost of the movie. I wonder how the profits for MIB3 will shape up.

It was as entertaining as the first two, and had several people (the villian, young Emma Thompson, the future-seeing guy) that I couldn't figure out who they were. It had it's moments, but if felt very rushed in the story and editing in some of the action scenes. That could have been Sonnenfield's rather hyperactive shooting style.

I thought it was good. I got sick of Will Smith's "ad libs." He thinks he's naturally funny and he's not, really.

I loved it. It was easily as good as the first, if not better. Boris was terrifying and the special effects were great. I remember the hub bub over the story, but I found it cohesive, and I admit, I cried at the end.

Saw it today. Not bad, not great though. Josh Brolin was the best part of this movie. Can I just say that Tommy Lee Jones has not aged well. He looked like he did not want to be there at all. A few too many open questions at the end but it was a good flick. I loved Boris, best villain of the series for sure.

I'm in the minority here, I guess, but I thought it was bad, like "I want those hours of my life back" bad. But I hated the first MiB film 14 years ago that everybody else seemed to love and skipped the second one, so I was obviously far from the target audience. I only saw this because it was Father's Day and my dad chose it.
I just didn't think it was funny and thought even Will seemed kinda embarrassed saying those cheesy lines: "You must be from the planet Damn!" And I was seriously offended on Emma Thompson's behalf, because how old does Hollywood think she is? She would have been a child in the Sixties, not an adult sexpot.

I saw this last night with a friend of mine and liked it. I though Josh Brolin did a great job and was a little teary eyed at the end.
