I love Munich. It was my favorite movie of the Oscar nominated movies that year. I am not sure it was better than Argo though. I am pulling for ZDT to win best picture but Argo is my 2nd choice.

Saw it and really liked it, but would have liked more behind the scenes info on the Canada-US dealings. Great, suspenseful movie.

Politics aside (not saying that the discussion isn't valuable). This was a fabulous movie. Ben Affleck put his foot into this. All of the acting was perfectly spot on.

I still haven't seen this but I have to say that based on his first two films Ben has been able to get really good performances out of his actors. Amy Ryan and Jeremy Renner even got Oscar nominated. The only slightly off performance I have seen in Ben's films was his own in The Town, IMHO obivously ;-)

I didn't want to like this, but I did. All that matters is that they got out. I ended up feeling badly for those Iranians left behind to live under that oppression, I hope some of them were able to find their freedom.

I think Argo may take Best Movie based on his Best Director snub. It was a great movie & having a mild sympathy vote won't hurt. I'm not sure what the Oscar voters were thinking....

Did anyone else like the 70s references, I have to admit I laughed when the CIA boss said that talking to the Secretary of State was like talking to one of those old f**** from the Muppets.

If it wins best picture, does Ben an Oscar?

Yes. He's one of the producers, along with George Clooney and Grant Heslov. So Clooney would get his second Oscar too. Though my guess is Ben would be giving the speech.

Huh, I thought Clooney had two Oscars already considering he's been nominated so many times. I have to admit I am pulling for them to win.
