Is this worth seeing on a small screen? At this point should I just read the book first, then rent it? It's really beautiful to watch and I think that will still come across on the small screen. I think it's definitely worth seeing. I didn't read the book first (I have it to read now) and had no problem following it. |

I think it's definitely worth seeing but I paid to see it on the big screen and in 3D no less and I loathe 3D. It was visually stunning.
Couldn't get into the book before I watched the movie but for sure will try and read it now.
