Ferrell said something like "You smell lovely tonight. What is it that I smell?" and Carell said, with PERFECT comedic timing, "Thank you. It's Pineapple Bliss." I might have botched the quotes, but that was pretty much the joke.

I have to bump this thread just because I love this man so much. I've downloaded all three seasons of The Office and just looking at him cracks me up. My favourite is when Michael gets emotional, i.e. in Benihana Christmas when he explains why Christmas is cancelled ("I just don't think it's appropriate to celebrate under the cirumstance *chokes up*"), but I also love Chris Rock impression ("...what they SUPPOSED ta do?!") and blah.. so much else!

He's too much. I love him, I love him, I love him.

If I ever feel crappy all I have to do is think of Steve Carrell running. How does he even do that. Kind of squats, then holds his hands in karate chop position, then army marches kind of fast. With no expression on his face.

Haha! I love the Valentine's day episode where he tells the other managers that Jan's his girlfriend and then it comes out at a meeting. It's so funny. I can't explain it, the camera sort of zooms out and there's Michael just frozen, hoping nobody can see him.

Another Benihana Christmas favourite:
Michael: Keep it up Stanley and I'll have to take away New Years.
Stanley: How can you take away New Years?
Michael: Jim, take New Years from Stanley.

Or the re-playing of the James Blunt sample. "I just want a taste".

All-time best Michael Scott moment: When he oh-so-subtly drew on the waitress's arm so that he could tell her apart from the other girl. My brother and I laughed so hard we had to pause the Tivo...then go back and watch it again. Brilliant, Steve. Brilliant.

Yay for the Steve love. I was almost a little worried to come in here and was afraid I'd read all sorts of stuff about him being a wanker or an asshole or something. But I just adore him. He's so great. And him marking the waitresses arm had me laughing for a full week just in random outburts everytime it popped into my head.

Why is he the way that he is? Honestly, everytime I watch him on my screen he makes even the most unfunny thing... not that way. I love, SO MUCH, about the person he chooses to be.
