Anyone else see this? I went to the matinee today. I really liked it. Stinging indictment of big Pharma. Figured out the basic twist, but still liked the rest of the story. All the performances are strong. I've come to the conclusion that I could listen to Jude Law read a phone book. I think it should do well at the box office.

It was empty in my theater matinee, but I really liked it too. Didn't figure out the twist within the twist, but knew there was a twist coming. I liked that Soderbergh kept bringing things and faces into focus. Jude Law was his usual very, very good self. A slow burn of a movie, but worth watching.

After watching it, I found it odd reviewers compared it to Hitchcock films and Fatal Attraction. The thing about Hitchcock is that the viewer is always aware of who committed the crime, but the protagonist isn't. That dynamic creates a tension as we are powerless to protect the hero. SE isn't set up like that at all. And I have no idea where FA comparison comes from.
I usually don't like Channing Tatum (no real reason except he just looks dumb to me), but he was fine in this. I know Rooney Mara is a polarizing figure here, but I really liked her in this. And she has the most luminous skin.
My theater had a good size crowd. OT, our previews sucked (how do the majority of films get made???).

I'm seeing it this weekend. I can't wait. Love all the themes in the trailer.

i saw this tonight and enjoyed it. There were some parts that I thought were a little too pat for my tastes. Although she looked great did anyone else notice how old Catherine Zeta-Jones' hands looked? I thought the woman was 42-44 years old, but her hands in this movie were those of a 57 year old!

I remember talking about CZJ's hands with my sister like nine or ten years ago. My sister thinks she has manhands and feels solidarity with famous women whose hands are less than dainty. Aren't there hand lifts now? I guess Catherine has had bigger problems in recent years. Anyway I haven't seen this movie yet but got a laugh from all the Twitter reviews from Channing Tatum fangirls bitterly disappointed about him only being the movie around 20 minutes.
