Yeah, this makes my blood boil too. We don't even get this stupid show in Australia but our tabloids do cover Victoria Gotti and her spawn. It is absolutely reprehensible that this family who got all their wealth and notoriety from committing really serious crimes have been able to turn their infamy into a commodity to make even more money. What's next? It's a shame that Ted Bundy was executed ... a fly-on-the-wall program about how to slaughter women and then profit from their deaths could make really compelling viewing!

Oh yeah, she also claimed to have a law degree from a school she never graduated from. And this is her second time lying about breast cancer - she did the same thing four years ago.

ITA with the general disgust. Precancerous cells are called that for a reason. They're what show up BEFORE the cancer... and it may not show up at all. She's lied about breast cancer twice, and having a law degree, and she has *got* to be lying about her age, too. Wait? Why do we expect anything different from this family that is, clearly, a paragon of truth??

This isn't true either. Apparently one of the sons has been told all his life that he's going to Harvard to be a lawyer*. When the show started and they kept saying it, Harvard either released a statement or a paper asked them if the son was accepted there, and they said no. The "Harvard" kid is actually going to Northeastern, although I think they were trying to get him into Harvard right up until the last minute because on the previews for the new show he said he had to get back to go to Boston. It's nice to know the Gotti name won't open all doors to them.

I always find it funny when people say they're going to major in "pre-law" or "pre-med" in college, since most schools don't offer either as a major.

I hear ya. I grew up in a suburb whose most famous former resident is Al Capone. So many of the guys I knew in school said that the person they most admired and wanted to be like was "Alphonse Capone". Gross. I imagine the Gotti boys feel the same, with a lot of help from Mommie Dearest.
