And she's dating Nick in real life. So on romantic dates, does Tulloch give David Giuntoli the same blank stares that Juliette frequently has? 'Cause expressing emotion is not her forte.

I always thought maybe Juliette was annoyed from all his thwarted attempts to propose & *she* checked out emotionally. It's the only thing that explains her character just kinda hanging around half-assing it for so long.

Maybe they use up all the passion and chemistry in their real lives, so there is nothing left for at work/onscreen??? (Happens on soaps quite often when actors are paired with their IRL significant others)

Then wouldn't that make them, uh, bad at their jobs? Anyway, IIRC Giuntoli was dating Beth Behrs from "Two Broke Girls" when "Grimm" started and didn't start dating Tulloch until later in the run.

Juliette was never a heavy lifter in the series. She was just a symbol of the normal life Nick wanted. I'm not sure what else there was to do with her character besides have a bad guy kill her or have her leave Portland.

She might be kept around in some sort of "undead" state. But I hope not.

Once Juliette got in on the secret, I thought she made a good addition to the team--as a veterinarian, she was accustomed to dealing with animals and she had medical skills. I guess she and Rosalie kind of make each other redundant in that sense, though. I also liked this season's development of her turning into a Hexenbiest--it made sense, given all the weird hexes and cures that have been inflicted on her over the seasons. I can see how it would put a damper on her relationship with Nick, and I wouldn't want to look like a Stephen Gammell illustration, either, but hey, you've got telekinesis and stuff! How awesome is that? But I missed a few episodes and the beginning of the finale, so I turned on the TV and went, "Wait, what? Juliette's with the bad guys now?" I'm going to be bummed if she's truly and permanently dead next fall.

They didn't have any onscreen chemistry (I know nothing about the Grimm actors off screen, but I was going to be pissed if they killed off the Captain because Sasha Roiz is gorgeous) but I thought Juliette as a baddie might have been fun for a bit longer.

I was sure the twist was going to be Trubel betraying Nick because she acted nervous when Bud insisted she answer her phone and lied to him about who was speaking with. She said she was talking to Nick and it sounded like she was actually speaking to a woman (or did I imagine all that?)
I miss the days when all of the characters weren't in the know. Part of the fun was keeping the secret. I've been hoping for a long time that the coroner would become a recurring character who investigates the strange goings on in Portland given the bodies he or she is presented with on a regular basis cause, seriously, WHATTHEFUCK?!!

I, for one, refuse to accept that Nick's mother is really dead. I know we saw a head in a box, but with this show who knows?
