I, for one, refuse to accept that Nick's mother is really dead. I know we saw a head in a box, but with this show who knows? Me too! Because how the hell did Meisner show up to push the King out of the plane if Kelly wasn't expecting some shit to go down? I would watch a show called Adalind and her Baby Daddies.

I just don't believe she'd be dumb enough to go to Nick's in the first place without smelling trouble. That's trouble, not Trubel.

Although I'll miss Nick's mom (and even Juliette to an extent, though I was surprised & gutted by the head in the box), I think it would be really wack to resurrect either of them. It would eliminate any sense of risk if everyone can be brought back with magic.

I wish they had kept Juliette as a recurring, not full time, baddie. That would have been fun to watch, and poignant at the same time...Evil Juliette popping up as a constant reminder of how twisted Nick's life is, how he will never have his own happily ever after as he once imagined...
I do still like the show, some of the characters are really starting to gel. I don't see why it is always a new wessen nearly every week, that kind of bugs. Don't they ever run into the same kind of wessen committing crimes, ever?
More Hank and Captain R. next season!

Was that scene with Trubel talking on the phone cleared up? If not, then I do think it's possible she was talking to Nick's mom (who was supposed to be dead by then). All they saw was the head in a box, so I could see that being a ruse. Maybe a magicked head to look like her? Though I did also wonder if Trubel was talking to Juliette on the phone (and Juliette was secretly trying to help Trubel/Nick et al), which was why Trubel seemed extra shocked by Juliette's evil turn.

I'm really interested to see what they do with the show next season. I hope Juliet stays dead, not because I dislike the actress or character but because I think it will make Nick that much more interesting as he grieves both his mother and girlfriend.

I was sure the twist was going to be Trubel betraying Nick because she acted nervous when Bud insisted she answer her phone and lied to him about who was speaking with. She said she was talking to Nick and it sounded like she was actually speaking to a woman (or did I imagine all that?) I miss the days when all of the characters weren't in the know. Part of the fun was keeping the secret. I've been hoping for a long time that the coroner would become a recurring character who investigates the strange goings on in Portland given the bodies he or she is presented with on a regular basis cause, seriously, WHATTHEFUCK?!! It's Portland. Frankly, the biggest suspension of disbelief that I have to make when watching this show is that Nick finds it at all weird when they "Wessen" out on him. Seriously, it's an awesomely odd town.

Per Comic-Con, Juliette is dunzo. She may appear in flashbacks however. One fan remarked her sadness over losing a major character: "The trailer."
