I have to say, I was a bit intrigued by Friday night's episode. Something interesting finally happened.

Naturally I deleted Friday's ep. I'll read a recap.

Juliette is back in a bad wig.
She only is briefly revealed in the last few seconds, after having saved the gang from certain death.

She's Grimm's Storm.

But you have to admit it's more interesting than plain old monster-of-the-week. That was okay when the show first started, but not now.
ETA: Yeah, that is a bad wig.

I wish the show would return to the monster of the week, because the long-term storylines are not working out.

I caught the second half of last night's episode after a year of not watching, and man, that was trippy. It felt exactly like when you're dreaming about something familiar and there's all kinds of inexplicable weird stuff but you just go with it because dream logic. Like, Nick and Adalind had a baby, and there was like this clone of Juliette named Eve, and all the cops were evil, and Trubel was back, and it was like Captain Renard was with the bad guys but he wasn't really doing anything, and there was this magical talisman that was just a piece of wood, and for some reason Nick had this old building with all these mysterious tunnels under it.
It was totally fun.
As always, props to the casting department, because OMG, that girl has "Adalind's freakish hexenspawn" written all over her face.
OTOH, Nick's baby is named "Kelly"? Google tells me that he's named after Nick's mother, but it's not enough that your kid is going to grow up being half Grimm and half Hexenbiest, you have to saddle him with what's essentially a girl's name now?

I watched last night's episode and I was, indeed, intrigued. I wonder just where we'll be in the fall when it returns.
I, too, hate the name Kelly. Poor kid.
I had to smile when Renard said to Adelind, "We've got to talk to Diana" and she said, "About what". He then replied with no emotion, "Killing people". Sounds just like something you'd expect monster parents to talk about their offspring.
Monroe and Rosalie are my favorite characters. Looking forward to their having a baby.

I'm not thrilled about the Rosalie/Monroe baby, but that's because I'm not big on kids anyway, especially on tv shows. There are more than enough kids on the show as it is. That said, the line about talking to Diana about killing people was pretty funny.
It looks like Eve may be back to being Juliette. Another thing I'm not thrilled about. I actually liked her more as Eve.
Oh well, I'm curious where they're going to take it all when it returns.

Watch your back Kelly. Your sister will fuck. your. shit. up. Stay out of her room. I can't wait for Rosalie and monroe's baby! What do you get when you cross a werewolf and a fuzzy little hamster-y wessen? ?
