I haven't watched tonight's episode yet and now I'm almost afraid (for all the wrong reasons) to do so. As a mid-season replacement, I'm surprised this hasn't had any gaps in its airings. Is this scheduled to carry on through May?
I might as well finish the season (Like I did with The Killing) and see what happens. If it's as shitty as it seems to be heading, then it may be time to call it quits.

Next week is the finale, which I'm quite interested in, because Kevin Williamson said that the finale sets up a whole new type of season two, or something like that. I also read an interview with him where he was like "yeah, we could have stretched some things out, but we wanted to be like a thriller novel, where everything was a twist" Now, I love mysteries and thrillers, but for crying out loud, they could have stretched it out so that only one or two big things happened in an episode, which would have made it more, not less interesting-we could have gotten to know the characters better, they could have figuered out where they were going instead of throwing shit at a wall and seeing what stuck, and it would have given oppurtunity for a compitant FBI.

I can no longer suspend my disbelief when it comes to this show. The past three or four episodes, Mr. Newt and I have spent pointing out all the idiotic things that people do on this show. My favorite was when they were investigating the training bunker... in the dark. No one flipped on the light switch.
I would give up on this show, but there's only one episode left. I can't imagine I'll be back for a season two.

*yawn* Ending sucked.
I don't think killing good characters is a smart move. It doesn't bring me to believe that it's "edgy" or "different". There should be some means to an end. I admit, I was wondering about that girl that wanted to kill Ryan herself...but where were these "guys" that were supposed to be watching things a bit better for Ryan & Claire? LAME! And let's not go right into having sex, kids. That always equals trouble.
I think I'll just have to skip next season and hear about it through the boards. If it improves, I might check it out again, but it's hard to say.

I loved the ending (the only think I liked, really). It's a good Stephen King-esque finish that calls back stories like "Children of the Corn" and "The Raft" where the protagonists die. Though it was clearly stupid for them to relax while so many of Joe's stupid followers were still out there probably hunting them down. They got stabbed for their idiocy so problem solved.

I just hated the fact that Claire would rather shack it up with Kevin Bacon then go and see her son. SMH

So is Kevin Bacon not coming back? I think he is. Maybe it's Claire that won't be coming back? I wonder if it'll be an entirely new following and it's all the outcast/abandoned Carollites (as I call them) who seek retaliation against Ryan for killing Joe (but I'm sure somehow he'll come back to life mysteriously.)

I hate that they killed off Parker - she was my favorite. Why even bother giving her such a gripping backstory? Glad Weston made it out alive, at least, and wasn’t revealed to be a Follower.
And Joe the Douchebag Professor is totally not dead. But that scene where Bacon told him he was so bored with him and Poe was like a total shout-out to the audience, I swear! It was pretty satisfying, unlike the rest of the crap.
I’m up for Season 2 if only to see how it starts.

I just hated the fact that Claire would rather shack it up with Kevin Bacon then go and see her son. SMH I thought that too, but Bacon noted earlier that he was escorting her to DC in the morning; it sounded like that was the soonest she could get there. BUT he is FBI (kinda)? Can't they just commandeer a jet? F*ck it.
