Sigh..... passed over for everything this morning...but GIRLS was nominated in several categories, as was Homeland and AB. #EMMYFAIL. The Emmys suck. Good lord that is bullshit. Does it have anything to do with the fact that it isn't an American show? Still bullshit in my books. On a related note, I will be hanging out with the brother of one of the creators/writers of this show in a couple weeks and will try, on behalf of everyone on this board, not to ask too many stupid fangirl questions, of which I can only assume he is sick of answering.

It probably has more to do with the show not being well-known enough. Tatiana has gotten some buzz lately but not enough to overcome better known shows with better known actors and bigger PR machines.

It's considered a sci-fi show so no kudos for it. But...we all know Tatiana deserved to be recognized if nothing else. Fail.

Well, I guess that's 7 people breathing a sigh of relief that someone didn't get nominated.
Michelle Dockery? Really? for what...looking constipated for an entire season.

Just finished the Orphan Black finale. What an amazingly well done show. Tatiana Masley is such a good actor, I regularly forget that she's playing all the clones.

This just started airing in the UK, so I can finally join in the gushing - totally hooked after two episodes, and I love that it's a Canadian show that's actually set in Canada.
The main actress is just superb, and it's remarkable how well she manages to make all the characters so distinct. I really forget it's the same person. Her British accent is unspeakably bad, though. I assumed she and Felix were Australian until they said otherwise. Couldn't they have gotten her an accent coach?

I had a Thanksgiving Holiday rewatch. This show is just the best and I can't wait for S2.

Me too! I'm glad the lead actress is getting more press because her acting is amazing.

Season 2 premieres on Saturday! Here's the trailerI'm both excited and nervous for the second season. Sometimes shows struggle when they transition from the protagonist dealing with strange circumstances phase to the larger conspiracy phase. I hope Art is a bigger part of season 2 than the trailer suggests. I liked his chemistry with FauxBeth.
