I keep forgetting it's the same actress as well. I just re-watched some of season 1. In the first episode, Sarah, pretending to be Beth had hot sex with Paul. When he turned to have weird sex with Rachel in this last episode, I actually thought "He had better chemistry with the other actress"..... I also keep thinking Tatiana is English, and all her other accents are fake.
I didn't know Leeky was Max Headroom. I just knew he was familiar.
And yes, Kira is the new Walt.
Some have surmised that Kira's (maybe) baby-daddy is Sarah's monitor. That to me would be a 'jump the shark' moment, because it would have involved a lot of pre-planning and working through hypotheticals to bring them together after all these years.
In next week's preview it seems Mrs. S and Paul know each other a lot more than we originally thought.
My goal is always to have Felix and Alison as a BFF couple. They are divine together. I also like Sarah and Paul together (and I really think it's because of the hot sex they had early on). I'm tired of Helena and Rachel. There's only so many times Helena can come back from the dead. Cosima and Delphine don't bother me, but Cosima's clearly dumb when it comes to matters of the heart.

Poor Felix. He's fastly becoming my favorite part of the show. I was surprised to see the actor that plays him is not really British... he just looks the part so well.
I think it's time clone club all get together and go hunting for Rachel for screwing with Cosima's health. What happens when she starts getting sick? It's in her best interest to let them work out the cure on Cosima while she is still around.
Crazy Insemination Cult is creeping me out. Sewing the daughter's lips shut is hardly the way to get her to confess, right?

Felix isn't British? Dammit! I live for his accent. Good job, Jordan. He's a nice break from it all, and proof that family goes deeper than blood. Sometimes Sarah says some offhanded sh*t about Kira being the only thing that matters (and I get it, maternal instinct) but sometimes I think, sheesh, what about your brother keeping your ass outta jail all these years, lil miss Grifter?
Is Cos's sickness slowing down b/c she's working for DYAD now? Wasn't she coughing up blood last season? I'm on ep 9 of S1 (I had to, ahem, reacquaint myself with Paul). I'm all screwed up timeline-wise, I'll prob have to start s2 again when I'm done.
OK, so we have a quorum: free Alison, arm Felix, get Rachel. Maybe take a flat iron to Helena's hair for kicks.
Also, Paul vaguely reminds me of Michael Vartan.

Disease wouldn't dare invade her precious self-aware body! I know some Rachel fans argue part of the reason why she is so bitter is because she wants a baby (based on her wanting Cosima wanting to find out why Sarah can have kids) but really I think she's just pissed there is a clone who is more special than she is. She's supposed to be the unique one damnit! She's self-aware! How dare Sarah one up her? The Rachel/Paul sex scene was all sorts of wrong but I believe that's the angle the writers were going for. Rachel wanted to sleep with Paul to remind him just how much control she has over him. He couldn't refuse her and she knew it. OB isn't shying away from the political overtones with the crazy cult. Helena's worth is tied to her ability to reproduce. They only want her back so she can carry a baby. Never mind Helena's thoughts on the matter! But hey no biggie if they don't find Helena! Gracie's uterus will do just fine! Again, who cares what she thinks! We'll just stitch her mouth shut if she screams! I've had "Head Over Heels" stuck in my head since Saturday. Thanks OB! Still the song did go nicely with the scene. I find Kira more tolerable than Walt. At least with Kira there is a possible explanation for her behavior (you know having a clone for a mother and all). Lost never bothered to explain what was so special about Walt. Plus, the show does acknowledge Kira's abilities are a wee bit odd. I missed Alison. |

I like Helena's DIY bleach job and home perm. The horrible, fried hair fits her effed up character. She probably did it because she thought it would make her look more angelic.

At least the roots! What if she has to impersonate someone (badly) one day?
In rewatching s1, seeing Olivier's tail get cut off was by far was one of the grossest things I've seen on TV, and I watch Hannibal. He was so proud of it... (shudders)
Kira's only like Walt in that her name gets screamed constantly.

I kind of wonder if Kira is like Luke Skywalker. Stay with me..... At first Obi Wan thought Anakin was special, but it was actually Luke. I wonder with all of the little hints they drop that Kira is the really special one. Not only can she heal miraculously, but she can also see into the future.
In reading this thread/talking about this show, I almost expect the characters of Fringe to pop up and investigate the weird shenanigans. Wouldn't that be awesome if Walter Bishop suddenly popped up? (Or is it just me?)
