This week's death was pretty convaluted. It would have been better if it matched Ronnie's idea and there HAD been a trained monkey involved. The bit about Geno not wearing the necklace and throwing off the killer's plan... well, it's the producers setting the whole thing up. It's in the contestants' contracts to play along with their 'deaths'. So if he forgot the necklace someone would have made him go back and put it on. They just needed an extra element to muddy the waters and keep the other contestants clueless. But it was a silly element. They already had the chandelier in addition to the gunshot. I think they just wanted to throw something else in there in the hopes someone would say something embarrassing about him being strangled like Dante said way back in the beginning about the first victim being drowned. All that subterfuge and they never bet on Ronnie coming up with 'trained monkey!' Classic.
Now with Ronnie's death- exploding hot tub? LOL! Although a poisoned facial would have been much more hilarious.

Yeah, overall I've liked all the killings as they've gotten more complicated, but this one was just odd. I did like the whole bit with the night vision goggles and the tunnel.
My prediction is that if Cris is the killer, Kam will win. If she's not the killer, Cris will win. I think the killer is one of the girls cause Kam seems overly competitive in the way Ronnie was. The girls don't seem to have that urgency except for Cris, I think its likely that Lindsay or Melina is the killer. The preview this week makes me think it might be Melina if she acts so weird next week.

I have no idea what was going on in the last episode. Melina probably really is dead, so I can be wrong yet again. However, it's pretty clear she was definitely fed information about the tea and note. Plus, the morgue just happened to have tons more information than the other three places. I'm not sure if that is because she really is the killer and her death was a fake-out last night, and they had to have some way of keeping her in the game after she took the quiz. Or less likely, it could have been the producers' last attempt to break up Team Kam. I would think the former because it would seem incredibly unfair to Team Kam for the producers to help Melina out if she wasn't the killer.
Based on the preview for next week and what I've read how the final episode is structured with three people being left, then I really do think Melina did die. So now I think it's between Cris and Lindsey with one being the winner and one being the killer, and Kam is the runner-up. As long as he doesn't win or isn't the killer since it seems incredibly unfair for the killer to mess with the dynamics of the game so much, I'll be okay with the ending now.

The only reason why I'm worried about Kam being the killer is that Anthony Zucker said that he didn't find out who the killer was until he was getting ready to shoot the last episode and it shocked him, and to me Kam would be the only one that would shock me.
I was really starting to think Melina was the killer, so now I'm back to not knowing, since I'm sure she really is dead too. Then there was the thing at dinner about Cris never getting a scared card. It could be that she's the killer, but it could be that she's just that good.

Good point. I started to think it was Melina because of that quote because she was just sort of there only solving one riddle, and somehow surviving while her teammates started to be killed off. I'd hate for it to be Kam though because of how he's the one that started all the alliances crap. If it were The Mole or if we had a better idea that the killer has been sabotaging the other contestants, I could see it being Kam. However, the impression I get from Zucker and other interviews from the cast is that the show wasn't trying to be like The Mole, and the killer really doesn't get to do much since he/she is almost as clueless as the rest of the cast.

Whee! I was right all along! It was Cris.
It was an interesting finale, but I'm TOTALLY PISSED that Kam won. He was such a total ass and completely unappreciative of everything. I don't buy his *sniff*sniff* tears that he got $250k. Him and him Mensa ass can just mosey on outta here.
Right at the end when they were revealing who the killer was, it started to get unbelievably cheesy with Cris's little clever rhyming bit to Kam. But then, it was just for fun I guess.
Kinda wish that Melina would have been alive to solve it, but she may have done poorly and I had a feeling that Lindsey was doomed when she was given a totally different clue for her final piece.
Wonder if it'll be back for another season?

Spinderella should get the $250,000 over Kam! I didn't dig the way that played out. Kam was in the room with Cris still thinking Lindsay was the killer. Heck, he even thought it was Giles before that! The puzzle pieces was an ok idea, but no way should anyone walk away with the winnings while still having 'Whodunnit' wrong. Kam was the quickest at putting the puzzle pieces together, but there should have been another step where the contestants had to actually name the killer and get it right.
I think it should have another season in order to work out the bugs, because the overall formula has great potential. But this season as it was turned out to be a bit of a dud in the end. Not just because Kam was a bit douchey. I could have handled his douchiness if he wasn't still saying 'Oh, I thought it was Lindsay!' while they handed him the money.

I think the problem with the season ending is that ABC wanted to make sure the show was vastly different than The Mole, which meant that they didn't really have a reason or clues to who the killer was. Without that, the "who" part of "whodunnit" didn't mean anything.

The fact that Cris knew she was the killer all along, but knew nothing of the challenges is OK by me. But Kam and all his bullshit just grates me.
He had no idea who the killer was. Not even at the very end! He even thought it was Giles as his final choice. UGH! It should not have come down to just some stupid puzzle game. Even though I couldn't stand Lindsay, at least she stuck to her guns and always chose Cris in her "howdunnit" reveals.
I really wonder how they're going to pull this off if they have another season. They'd be smart to check out boards like this, Twitter and other social media to get opinions and feedback, then re-group with the writers and producers and come up with a new and improved version.
