No, she doesn't sound well.
Her biggest complaint against the show seems to be that she didn't get enough advance notice each season whether or not her character would be returning? Reminds me of her big throwdown with a stylist because she found out the stylist put her in a dress for an awards show that was off the rack. It's hard to sympathize with these overwrought reactions to these sorts of "problems".
I wouldn't blame anyone on OITNB for keeping a distance from her and her drama.

It's too bad - I thought she did a good job as P-tucky, but her issues seem to be keeping her from other work (I think I've heard that she's been fired from other projects).
The show ended well, I think. It's almost strange to look back and see how groundbreaking it was when it first came out (a show that was nearly all women, largely women of color, plenty of LGBTQ characters, and not all of them had "perfect" Hollywood looks/figures), but it was.
The ending felt a little too clean at times, but I guess it was showing (most of) the characters just doing the best they can in their situation.
The "good-byes" during the final credits were sad. Especially Natasha Lyonne unable to get through her scene because she keeps crying.
And the updated version of the opening credits song was WAY better than the original version. If that version was used all along, I probably wouldn't have gone diving for the remote to hit "skip" every time the credits come up.

It's quite remarkable that Doggett started out as season 1's big villain and wound up being one of the most sympathetic characters. I cried a lot during the finale. Spoiler: I didn't like how Chang going into ICE detention was treated as comic relief. We were supposed to weep all season long for the women in ICE detention, and the little Chinese lady gets nabbed and it's funny? The "good-byes" during the final credits were sad. Especially Natasha Lyonne unable to get through her scene because she keeps crying. When the show began, Natasha was considered almost unemployable and just lucky to still be alive. She's come a long way.

And glad that this show helped her get her career back on track, because Russian Doll was awesome and showed off how talented she is (what with all the acting and the writing and the directing she did on that show).

When Chang showed up in ICE custody, I laughed because I don't think those guards are ready for Chang. That was my interpretation.

I stopped watching after season 3, but I might go back and watch the previous seasons just to catch up before watching the final season. I kinda/sorta know about some of the stuff that happened--riot, death of a major character, Piper getting out, but I want to see how everyone ends up.

I stopped after season 3 too and just watched the finale and I was mostly able to follow it. There were a couple of new characters I didn't know and a few storylines that were a little unclear but nothing too bad. I read some recaps so I was mostly up to speed. And I actually really liked the finale, I found it pretty satisfying. It was realistic in that not everybody got a good ending but everybody's seemed fitting to that person. I do kinda want to watch the rest of season 7 now although not the other seasons I missed.

Just finished and, by and large, am very satisfied. They didn't wrap everything up in a pretty bow, but characters I hoped for good things for (Gloria, Blanca) got a happy ending. And thank god Taystee didn't go thru with her plans. I'm going to imagine she will get her case reheard.
Funny that characters I started out liking (Daya) I grew to hate and vice versa.

I was happy with how they wrapped it up.
I didn't care for all the Alieda love; she's just a terrible person (although the actress does a great job trying to make her lovable funny). Daya is a terrible person too? Well, apple=tree, I guess.
The montage of secondary character scenes at the end, wow, I forgot about many of them. Once the group went to Max, the ones who didn't just fell off my radar. It is interesting to see how far some of the characters evolved over the course of the show. I think it all took place within a year or two?
