Olaf treat bags. Containing small bottles of sun-block and other summery gifts…? Good idea! We are going with hot chocolate. Which reminds me, I need to work on those today. I also found a billion snowflakes on clearance at Party City, so this is going to be both the most elaborately decorated and simultaneously cheapest party we have ever thrown.

My daughter and I listen to the soundtrack all the time. Her favorite is "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" and I love "Let It Go." I like "Let It Go", but Mr. smockery loves that song. The kids keep catching him singing it at odd times. Funny thing, he didn't even want to go see the movie.

While I enjoyed the film, I don't love Let It Go. It's like someone tried to bring back Disney's 90s songs but didn't quite succeed.

I like Let It Go but only Idina's version. If I were Demi Lovato, I would have said, "Oh no. There is no way in hell that I am singing the same song as Broadway superstar IDINA MENZEL on this soundtrack. Uh uh."

I actually like Demi's version of "Let It Go" better, but maybe that's because I'm not crazy about Idina's voice.

Frozen comes out on Blu-Ray on March 17, is it wrong that I want to plan on being late into work just so I can pick one up first thing in the morning? I mean, that's okay right?

I got this on iTunes and I loved it. They broke out in song a little too often for me, but that is a minor quibble. I was afraid that Olaf would be the Jar-Jar Binks of this movie, but he was entertaining.
Loved that the main "love story" was between the two sisters, that everyone thought Anna was nuts for getting engaged to a guy she barely knew and LOVED the Arrested Development references. Someone working on the film was clearly a fan.
Then comes the part where I over think things - Kristoff's background drove me nuts. We see him working with the ice harvesters, then he happens upon the trolls and lady troll is all, "You're cute. I think I'll keep you." And apparently she did since Kristoff later introduces the trolls as his family and tells Anna that he didn't really have anyone before them. So who was taking care of him up until the point he met the trolls? Who fed and clothed him and gave him his own cute little ice pincher things and cute little sled? Weren't these people alarmed when he never came home that day?
These are the things I worry about.
