It was good, but very Disneyfied. There seemed to be a LOT missing to the story. Hanks and Thompson were their usual excellent selves, and Colin Farrell was terrific, and should be more buzzed about with Oscar.
I am not a fan of Mary Poppins, outside some catchy songs, so that might have biased my enjoyment of it.

Saw it today. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope Colin Farrell gets at least an Oscar nom out of it.

As an aside, during production of the movie the producers went to the local cemetery in Allora to see Travers Goff's grave. They had trouble finding it and it had fallen into disrepair. Colin himself paid a 'considerable sum' towards restoration and ongoing maintenance.
