This just gets stranger and stranger, with zero mention of her going back to Monaco and vague 'maybes' of the kids going to see her:

She has said she won't return to Monaco before the end of October. So they've finally put a timeline on it.

I would think if she doesn't show up by early November the rumor mills will really be in full swing.

I do think she is ill and having operations but one of the things that is making people question it right now is that she seems well enough to launch a rhino poaching charity and get very physically involved with that.

She was already in SA for months when she caught this ENT infection, apparently the reason she attended the Zulu King's funeral in March is because she was a close friend who was already there, not that she flew in for it and stayed.

Assuming she actually does return to Monaco in November she will probably have been away for 10 months or so. Clearly some things are beyond their control but it's still a huge long time to be away from your 6 year olds. Then they try and act like everything is normal by releasing a series of cutesy 10th anniversary videos.

She's posted some photos on Instagram of her reunion with Albert and the kids in South Africa. On an endearingly relatable note, Gabriella has given herself a new haircut. Other than that, Albert is looking old and fat leaning against a tree and for anyone questioning the state of the marriage, none of the photos depict any kind of closeness between the two of them.
