She posted a picture of her and Albert embracing. She looks pale and unwell. Could she have been receiving cancer treatment or something and went to South Africa to fly under the radar? The infection story is a little strange.

There are some horrid complications of ENT infections that can legit require extended antibiotic therapy and multiple surgeries and make people deathly ill, so the story could be true.

The other day Albert declared Charlene was "ready to return home" and today this:

Monaco's Princess Charlene is reportedly in "stable" condition after being hospitalized in South Africa on Wednesday night.

According to reports, the princess, 43, suffered a "medical emergency" and was released on Thursday. South Africa's News 24, which broke the story, is now reporting her condition as "stable."

The news outlet said that she was allegedly "rushed" to Netcare Alberlito Hospital, north of Durban, following a "medical emergency" that occurred at the Thanda Game Reserve, where she has been staying. The hospital in Ballito is 150 miles from the reserve.

Additional unconfirmed reports from South African media suggest the mother of two collapsed Wednesday night.

I have no idea what is going on with her, but she hasn't looked herself lately. Sad situation whatever the problems may be.

I haven't been paying too much attention to the details, because it looked like the situation is just unpleasant and sad all the way around. The haircut seemed like some kind of cry for help and things have gone severely downhill since then. She's physically ill, but I feel pretty confident that ridding herself of Albert is crucial to her health at this point.

She's been in SA since at least March and according to the palais only became ill in May so it was clearly more than her physical health that kept her there to start with. Something is clearly very wrong. She definitely hasn't looked right since that haircut last year and it is all very sad.

I kind of doubt that she'll ever return to Monaco full time, although she and Albert may never officially divorce.
