Wait, she's at the Met Gala now? Why is she a thing? How? Suicide Squad hasn't come out yet and heretofore her biggest role was in the crappy but much-missed [by me] series Pan Am. Other than being blonde and playing Arm Candy #1 in a couple movies, what has she done to merit being this much on the radar?

You can buy tickets, they're expensive (I think one year I read they were 10k), but anyone can go. Also she's white, skinny, and otherwise conventionally attractive so what would be a mediocre accomplishment for anyone else is going to be omggroundbreaking when she does it.

Technically this is true, but even if you purchase a table, you and all your guests have to be final approved by Anna Wintour. Of course, if she approves the West/Kardashian/Jenners, she will approve the white skinny blonde.

I hear she is really great in Suicide Squad. We will see. I saw Focus in my hotel the other day and it put me to sleep.

I'm willing to handwave the women because they are the wearers of the dresses we want to see, but I damn near freaked out when I saw that Wiz Kalifa was there. I don't know why, but it rubbed me the wrong way.

Fashion's cruel mistress is turning out to be a celebrity famewhore (kissing too much Kardashian ass). Plus her dress looked like a macreme plant holder my grandma used to have. I'm officially breaking up with you Anna.

A friend of mine who's a not at all famous stage actor got invited the year a play he was in transferred to Broadway. I think lots of non celebs get invited. Robbie's been getting tons of press; she's certainly famous enough for an invite.

There is an article out there where she is being interviewed in 2008 and she specifically says she's 23 years old, but miraculously her IMDb page says she was born in 1990. I will see if I can find the article.

There was some article in the DM where she said she can't be alone for 15 minutes and starts texting people. Based on this alone, I think she's nuts and will go publicly bananas one day. I don't think more fame will be good for her psyche. /armchair psychology.

So is Suicide Squad worth watching? Most of the reviews seem pretty unthrilled.
