I'm happy for them as well, especially after the trauma of Louise's birth.

Have they given him a name yet or are they still thinking about it?

The baby is cute for a couple who I didn't think would ever have kids.

The royal naming system seems so confusing. I understand that it's the House of Windsor, hence the last name, but where does Severn come from? Not to sound like a moron, but I wonder if they royal family themselves have to consult a particular book or expert when naming...?

I believe one of the birth announcements I saw mentioned that Viscount Severn was one of Prince Edward's titles, but I don't know any further details.

The first son of an Earl is always titled with the Viscount title of his father. I believe Edward and Sophie stated a while back that all their children are titled as children of an Earl as opposed to of a prince.

When I read "Severn" I just think Severus Snape. Anyway, James is a nice name for a little boy. Does anyone know if he will be called Prince James or will he be like Anne's kids and have that title ditched (for him)?
