I got into Korean dramas when I lived overseas, they were always dubbed so I never had any issues understanding them. When I moved back stateside, I didn't have a chance to watch them anymore. Then I got Hulu and Netflix and the doors opened for me!
I was quite entertained with Full House, though I was annoyed with the main characters because they both would have saved each other so much heart ache if they learned to communicate with each other.
Currently, I'm obsessing about "My love from another star." I think I've even developed a crush on the main character, Do Min Joon. *blushes*

Do Min Joon is indeed very attractive, and at least two of Korean students where their hair like his--I'll assume it's a coincidence. I haven't had too much time to watch very many yet, but I think I have found a new thing. New to me, anyway. Love this!

If you didn't already know, viki.com has lots of current dramas, and not just kdramas. If you watch with Google Chrome w/adblock, you don't even have to sit thru commercials. There's also dramafever, which has a shitload of dramas, and they offer free and paid subscriptions.
I'm watching 2 new dramas - Angel Eyes and something with Soybean in the title, and waiting for the next drama cycle to begin on a couple of weeks. I might watch an older drama in the meantime.

Thanks Weekender! I used to watch through Drama Fever, but I can't remember if there were commercials or not. I currently watch through Hulu, their selection is pretty good. I prefer to wait until the series is over before I start watching it, that way I can binge watch. Lol
Currently in my queue, the one with Soybean in the title, Bride of the Century, and Coffee Prince. Trying to get through Lie To Me, but I can only take so many scenes where the characters never say how they really feel.
And seriously, My Love From Another Star is probably one of my favorite series. Trying to get my mom to watch it while she's here, but she's not into binge watching like me.

A new drama cycle is starting over the next few weeks (hopefully not disruptef too much by the world cup) and I have 2 or 3 shows that I am planning to watch. One show that I'm currently watching, Wild Chives and Soybean Soup, aka Jang Gook Becomes Dal Rae, is getting cancelled.

I've been marathoning Kdramas thanks to my mom and best friend. (None of us are Korean.) I like the light stuff, broad comedies and romantic comedies, mostly.
I recently blasted through Tomorrow's Cantabile, which I understand was a dud in the Korean ratings. The first few episodes were definitely touch and go, as I think Shim Eun Kyung was being directed to play Nae Il way too broadly (and too much like the character in the Jdrama source material). But everyone else was good and she eventually settled into the role rather nicely. Once she did, watching the show just felt like a warm hug with a classical music soundtrack. Now I think I love Joo Won and his beautiful alien face. I'll probably check out his previous dramas Baker King and Bridal Mask, though those seem more serious than my usual fare.
Just before that, I was delighted by silly sweetness of Modern Farmer and bored to tears by My Lovely Girl (sorry, Rain). Currently keeping up with What Happens to My Family.
I haven't seen the selection on Hulu, but I use Viki and Dramafever. Netflix's selection seems to be shrinking.

Currently, I'm splitting time between watching Coffee Prince and and a Jdrama called Biblia Antiquarian Bookshop. I tell you, that last one would never be greenlit here. A drama about people working in essentially a used bookstore? No way. But it is interesting.

How's Coffee Prince so far? It's been on my queue for the longest time and i just can't seem to bring myself to watch it.

I'm up to episode 14 and so far it is pretty good. Not quite as over the top soap opera-like like Boys Over Flowers was. At least not yet.

I haven't picked up any new kdramas since "What Happens to My Family" ended, though people have been suggesting "Hyde, Jekyll, Me," "Kill Me, Heal Me," and "Healer." However, I have gotten sucked into "Return of Superman." It may just be my biological clock ticking, but that show is so cute. Sarang and the triplets are ridiculously adorable, and the dads can be pretty funny.
