I just started "Goblin: The Lonely and Great God" and I forking love it. Of course, I didn't realize that the last 6 episodes of the show is only available through Dramafever Premium which means I'll have to either find a way to do the 6 episodes during the 30-day free trial or just join altogether and embrace my love fand Korean Dramas.

I enjoyed that one too. (My BFF is a Gong Yoo fan girl, now, and it's getting to be a little OTT.) My favorite part really was the bromance between the goblin and the grim reaper. I didn't care about the OTP at all. At. All. I understand that age is not supposed to make sense when one character is an immortal being with superhuman powers who's been on the earth for like 940 years, and the other isn't supposed to be alive, has been visited by ghosts her entire life, and is literally marked with a supernatural destiny. But it's still a (way more than) grown man romancing a high school senior who acts incredibly cutesy.

I ran into that later-episodes premium-only problem a while ago when I missed the TV broadcast of an episode of Legend of the Blue Sea and tried to watch it on Viki, but I Googled around a bit and eventually found subbed video on another site. (I really, really liked Legend of the Blue Sea. I thought the early episodes were kind of dumb, what with the cheesy Spain scenes and the hero's absurd hypnotism abilities, but it got better--and super-adorable--once everybody went back to Korea. It also had TONS of supporting cast members from other shows I liked--some of the parents from I Have A Lover, and mer-people cameos from the hero of that show about the news anchor with breast cancer and the webtoon artist younger sister from Second to Last Love.) Currently, the only show I'm watching is Our Gap-Soon/Perfect Bride, which is not at all good, but it scratches my itch for cheesy weekend family dramas. I think we're at episode 40-something, and I'm dying to know what happened behind the scenes, because one of the characters totally vanished like she'd never existed, and there's some bizarre characterization going on. I wouldn't call it a hate-watch, more of a WTF-watch.

I watched Tunnel, and loved it. I wanted one of those extended romance novel HEA epilogues though, laying out exactly what happened. Choi Jin Hyuk has never been one of my favorites (too many 2nd lead characters) but he really knocked it out of thr park this time.
Suspicious partners is good too, but this stupid idea of the network to split the episodes into 2 so they can show commercials in between really breaks up the flow and the narrative.

Anyone watch the Netflix kdrama “Kingdom”? It’s a zombie saeguk. People have compared it to Walking Dead, but I think it’s more Game of Thrones + Lord of the Rings + zombies (not unlike the ones in GoT).
It’s well acted, beautiful to look at and only six episodes long. But the last episode ends on a cliff hanger, but without giving us a satisfying payoff before the cliffhanger, and season two probably won’t be out for a year!
On a less gruesome tip, this past weekend I rewatched “Splash Splash Love,” and it’s still cute as hell. It’s a time-travel rom-com. Only two episodes, so not a huge commitment. The leads should make another drama together, they had such great chemistry.

Hey CabbageKid and other k-drama/j-drama/c-drama fans, where y'at? I'm currently re-watching Extraordinary You and I'm working on True Beauty, Love (featuring Marriage and Divorce), A Love So Beautiful (Korean version)? I also like some variety/reality shows like The Manager and I Live Alone.
Anyone?

I also like some variety/reality shows like The Manager and I Live Alone. Anyone? I'M HERE! I'm currently trying to finish Awaken (I watch it through Viki, I caved and got a subscription). I just finished Uncanny Counter and Abyss on Netflix. For Abyss, I actually jumped ahead from Episode 10 to Episode 15 because it seemed like the same thing was happening over and over again and i was right. I wasn't even confused by jumping ahead by so many episodes. I really loved Uncanny Counter. I've also watched Familiar Wife, I think this one is on netflix also. I thought this was something I could have playing in the background because the description of the show didn't really pull me in, but I ended up pleasantly surprised. The camaraderie of the characters in the bank was my favorite part of the show. Still trying to finish It's Okay to not be okay. It's a really good show, but it's also depressing with all the obvious mental issues of the characters.

Yay!!!
It's Okay was great but the subplot with the mothers was unnecessary to a certain extent. The ending is not disappointing so keep going!
I've got Viki Plus. It's cheap enough and I'm catching up on lots of old stuff. I'm curious about some things that have less than 9.0 stars though because I've watched some 9.2's that were not good lol. I have to wonder how bad the stuff that only has like 4.0 stars is.
Uncanny Counter is on my list. I'm in the middle of Mystic Pop-Up Bar on Netflix and it's super cute and light. Very well done.
