Apparently Anna has a memoir coming out in October that focuses heavily on how she and Chris maintain their great marriage.

I just hopes this shuts him up now, and he stops pontificating to everyone about how his values are so awesome and ours are not unless they are his. I do think this just may be a straight up Hollywood case of one partner's career just taking off while the other one's just never does.

It is interesting to me; the Hollywood bubble when it comes to marriage. Like, in what other career would you say- yep- sorry but I choose my job over my family. In this case (not saying that's what straight up happened- but let's say in an example like this) Pratt would now have enough money to have him and his family set for life- easy! But, nope... has to keep working- on these big projects, that take him away from his family. I mean, he made what - 10 million from Passengers, another few million from Jurrassic Park, another few (at least) for Guardians. At this point he's not in it to provide a stable income for the family. If you see your marriage suffering why not par it back and just do local acting/tv (if it's the craft you love).
I just never understand this- when people get into the making millions from their movies and they have a family- why does it almost never happen that a celeb will step back for the sake of that family?
*** again- not saying this was the cause here- maybe- maybe not... but it is a general observation

He bugs me, and he's not THAT hot. Not even close. He is by far, my least favorite Chris.

I dislike people comparing him to Harrison Ford (uh, NO), but he had pretty muscles in the last Guardians movie.
I think if they didn't have a kid, they'd have split after the first Guardians movie. Hollywoood marriages can't survive disparate fame like they have. A non-actor and a A-lister, maybe. A tv star, no way.
I hope if the alcoholism rumors abour Anna Faris are true, that she gets help.

I wonder what happened to that?

Success is addictive. And Hollywood definitely tells people that one success is not enough, you need to keep surpassing it or else you are a failure.
Also, you get used to a higher level of spending. Matt Damon said very early in his career that if he ever made $5 million he'd invest it and would never do anything for money again since that's plenty to live on. Somebody asked him later about that later on and he said something to the effect that once he got $5 million he realized it's not nearly as much as he thought (using the "after taxes and after I pay my agent...").

I wonder what happened to that? With the exception of Passengers, the movies he has been doing back to back to back are all sequels or part of Marvel world? I don't think he has a choice. When you sign up for those movies you are locked into contracts. I think Chris Evan had to sign up for a six picture Captain America deal? I think the only one who didn't was RDJ. He only signed a two movie contract, which is why he made so much off Iron Man. They had to meet his salary requests to lock him in for the rest of them. Not positive, but I'm going to assume that breaking your contract is a hefty hefty sum. I think he is cute but Harrison Ford, he is not. I know people are saying they don't understand his appeal, but I never understood Anna's appeal. I think once in awhile she can be funny, but her acting leaves a lot to be desired and she has fucked with her face too much to be attractive, in my opinion. That being said, I'm sorry they couldn't make it work. They have a really cute son and they seemed like they were a good fit.

He bugs me, and he's not THAT hot. Not even close. Same. He reminds me of every dude I knew in high school. Not that that's a bad thing at all, but it's also not Hottest Man on Earth material. His appeal is totally lost on me.
