It is interesting to me; the Hollywood bubble when it comes to marriage. Like, in what other career would you say- yep- sorry but I choose my job over my family. In this case (not saying that's what straight up happened- but let's say in an example like this) Pratt would now have enough money to have him and his family set for life- easy! But, nope... has to keep working- on these big projects, that take him away from his family. I think it happens a lot more than people think, especially in careers where people are following their passion/dreams/whatever. I've seen it in academia and politics, and it probably happens in any career measured by benchmarks, like, "ok, I got into grad school, now I have to get to exams, then write my dissertation, then go through an extremely competitive market, and then get tenure, and--and--." People in jobs like these often perform in ways that are not just teaching/researching/writing policy reports, etc. There's always the next thing to get or achieve, the next thing to publish, and sometimes work is episodic, like taking a crummy job for a semester or an election cycle and then hoping that short term sacrifice/investment will pay off somehow. Some people find balance, some people are more restless, and some don't know what they want. And there are probably other ways of looking at this, but anyway. Anyway, topic? I can see why people are into him, but I don't feel it. He doesn't seem that deep.

He's pretty perfect for the Guardians of the Galaxy role, but I was so unimpressed with him in the Magnificent Seven remake. He wasn't terrible but it was basically Peter Quill IN SPACE THE OLD WEST!
I actually think Evans or Pine would've been superior Chrises for that one.

Like I sometimes have to look away bc he is so pretty. Sigggggh. Evans is a close second but I only find him attractive with a beard.

Hell, I ran into an old friend who announced he was getting divorced and the first sentence out of his mouth was that two very demanding careers can't co-exist in one marriage. I know everyone is supposed to say "family first" or "marriage first" but sometimes people's jobs make them happier than their marriages.

Like I sometimes have to look away bc he is so pretty. Sigggggh. Evans is a close second but I only find him attractive with a beard. Pine is by my favourite flavour of Chris too! Evans is 2nd, and the other two can duke it out for 3rd place. I mean, he made what - 10 million from Passengers, another few million from Jurrassic Park, another few (at least) for Guardians. At this point he's not in it to provide a stable income for the family. If you see your marriage suffering why not par it back and just do local acting/tv (if it's the craft you love). I just never understand this- when people get into the making millions from their movies and they have a family- why does it almost never happen that a celeb will step back for the sake of that family? *** again- not saying this was the cause here- maybe- maybe not... but it is a general observation This happens in all sorts of career fields, but in the case of Hollywood, it seems to be a special case. When you become "It" in Hollywood, I imagine the success and adulation must be overwhelming, not to mention the financial rewards. Suddenly, everything you want comes true, the media proclaims you as a god amongst men, and you have millions of people who don't even know you who love you. It's got to get to your head, and the only way to keep it going is to keep working. If your spouse starts fighting with you, it's surprisingly easy to split and replace them with a younger, hotter version. But if you stop, it all goes away, and that just is not an option. I think the greatest fear for the vast majority of stars is to fade away into nothing and be known as that person who used to be famous.

I don't find any of the Chrises sexy, but Pratt wins in terms of who I want to watch onscreen. I'm a big Parks & Rec fan and I find him funny. I also think he's an entertaining interview.
Evans annoys me because he gets so much worship just for being an average white guy who is ok looking and reasonably nice.

If he's the one to leave the marriage, then she's dodged a bullet. It's cliche but money and fame won't hold your hand on your death bed.

TMZ is saying that he didn't want any more kids and wanted to be free to travel and work, whereas Anna wanted them to be together in a more traditional fashion at their home base in LA.
It's unclear which side TMZ got that information from, but it is consistent with how they have conducted their marriage. Chris was away working much of the time while Anna stayed rooted at home with their son and her TV show.

Lainey, not surprisingly, is bragging about her blind item from 2015 and pointing the finger at Anna's alleged drinking problem (w/o saying as such, but noting her b.i.) as the reasons. So...Chris is an angel and it's all on Anna.

He's super witty and snarky to go along with being totally hot. He's also getting better with age I think. I really liked Chris Pratt as Bright in Everwood and Andy in Parks and Rec and I was happy for him when he became successful, but then the more I heard about him (the animals, the hunting, the in your face religion) and he started to bug.
