I thought he was hilarious as Andy Dwyer on Parks and Rec. They wrote that role specifically for his dorky, slightly dumb, good-naturedness. He's funny in Guardians, but that character is such an arrogant jerk. Same for Jurassic World, that guy is HORRIBLE. I don't think he has much range at all, and will probably be playing the same types of roles for the rest of his career.
I just checked her Twitter, and she's a "lifestyle blogger" so yeah, no. Good luck, you dumb kids.

I'll always like him because of Parks and Rec, and he deserves credit because that character was largely his invention. He was originally only supposed to appear as a minor character in a couple of episodes in Season 1, but the writers kept expanding his role because he was so funny. I just checked her Twitter, and she's a "lifestyle blogger" so yeah, no. Good luck, you dumb kids. I think he wants more kids and a sweet, uncomplicated, God-fearing housewife at home to raise them. It's a shame because I think his marriage to Anna was a marriage of equals. They had a lot in common, from being from the same hometown to being foodies. I remember them talking about how they first bonded as friends, opening up to each other about their adventures being single in LA. Chris is religion now, but back in the day he was a dirty dog. Mrs. Pratt #2's innocent ears probably could not handle even hearing about it. And Anna always maintained her own life - from acting to podcasting to writing a book. Maybe that made the marriage more difficult since she didn't travel with him most of the time. But it's kind of disappointing to see a 42-year-old successful woman replaced really quickly with a 29 year old with not a lot going on. If the rumors are true, Anna is....troubled. And that's why he got out of the marriage. So it's not his fault, but I do find it kind of sad.

Are the stories regarding Anna Faris's alcoholism anything more than tabloid rumors? Was there ever anything besides gossip to back this claim up? She plays an alcoholic on her show, so it seems like she wouldn't shy away from admitting to struggling with alcohol IRL, even if only for publicity purposes. Celebitchy posted a video of Anna "slurring her words" on Stephen Colbert with the headline saying she was drunk. I watched it, and neither appeared to be true to me. In the tabloids I've noted a pattern of a somewhat aggressive one-sided campaign from the Pratt team and if he/they are behind this rumor, that would be pretty shitty, to say the least. Regardless of whether or not any of this is true, I get the feeling that he's a down-low petty selfish jerk who's thus far gotten by, not only on his charm, but the charm of his character on Parks and Rec.

I've seen interviews with Anna where I thought she was clearly drunk. And my rule of thumb is that if celebrities can't stay sober for television appearances, then things must be very bad. (See also: Ben Affleck drunkenly ranting about The Patriots on TV.)
And several months ago, Anna posted a picture on instagram in which her bare legs were visible and they were the size of toothpicks. And by that I mean her previously normal-sized thighs looked like those of a late-stage anorexic during hospitalization. Her followers were horrified and she immediately deleted the photo without comment.
I think there is substance to the rumors.

This is all making me sad. I still love Chris Pratt.

I never watched Parks and Rec, did like him in Guardians, but based on his treatment/views on animals he can go pound sand!

Chris has pictures still on Instagram of Anna from less than two years ago and he captioning those pictures of his beautiful wife. Run Katherine run. I always liked him with Anna they were both a bit quirky and I thought they complimented each other well. But he got famous and she passed 40. Who knows about her drinking but in my opinion he wants more kids and I wonder if her preterm delivery and Anna's age made him nervous to try again. This pretty fast but who says only fools rush in?

Or not so low key: When he tried to give his cat away via twitter- his cat he had had for 15 years- but now it was old and sometimes incontinent (as can happen with any creature that gets old)- people kinda blasted him as that seemed quite uncaring. His response:
"not that this is any of your fucking business weirdos [he says on Twitter, the same place he just posted asking for someone to take his cat. Now that people are calling him a jerk though it's none of their business??], but my wife and I want to start a family and we absolutely cannot have an animal that shits all over the house. Sorry. If you are a parent you will understand. And if not, that probably explains why you have such a hard on for cats. Just sayin'." (if taking care of an older cat is too much for you... might wanna rethink the whole kid thing Chris... just sayin'.)
Following this charming incident he and his wife got blasted for abandoning a dog they had adopted, as it had been found homeless, in ill health, and starved because of said abandonment. The shelter they got the dog from blasted them in that case.
He's an asshole.
